hey guys, I actually got approval from my wife to do an install day at our place! details coming soon. Unfortunately it will be a limited number of people who can participate, I have to keep the numbers down. Wish it weren't so, but you gotta do what you can do. Couple parts to install (power tools would help), fluid changes, wash 'n dry, that kinda stuff .

Also, LPI in Livermore is giving us some discount on Motul Gear 300 75w90 (you'll need four bottles for diff/tranny). A coulple of us already have it and will be changing over. If you want some, contact them and mention my name (Jessie).

Nice. We'll need to raise the car equally. I have ramps but may need taller jacks for the rear.

Curious to see who's interested in the Motul and perhaps just get a case or two from LPI. Ordering individually may take longer to arrive b/c they don't typically stock it and comes from a different supplier than their Motul in stock.

Couple texts to response to... They have car helmets and race gear in stock, suggest going there to try helmets b/c diff brands & models feel differently. Also, it doesn't hurt to mention my name if you're curious what that may get you. I can't promise anything nor am responsible for anything. I'm just a sucker for a brick and mortar store that has a couple employees that are down to earth, get opinions on, and are not stuck up on being the greatest track guys in the world. They are not affluent to 86 verbiage nor parts but they are track guys and sometimes I'd rather listen than talk. I did mention Livermore right lol

I just stopped by this afternoon to pick up my Motul gear 75w90 that came in. Nice guys I talked to them for a while and left them a 86DRIVE card. Like Jessie said they are nice guys and if you mention Jessie's name or our club then they will give you a price break on the oil. They also said they'd be interested in working with us if we want to do a group buy on something. We talked about brake pads and racing harnesses and other stuff.

BTW I picked up 3 liters of the diff oil when I only need 1.3. I'm using my old stock of Redline MT90 for the tranny. So if anyone else wants to do diff only that day, I got your oil, just pay me $20. $19 for the first bottle, $1 for half of the other one.

I have an account with motul. I can get any fluid even single bottles in one day.

Let me know if you guys need some. As long as you order before 1pm, i can have it with me the next day

we are looking at Aug 3 possibly. That's the weekend between WEKFEST SJ and 86FEST so arguably no conflicts for those who want to go to those.
