Here's a picture of the GRIP with some info:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDjsv7GrHRY"]ARK Performance Scion FR-S GRiP Exhaust - YouTube[/ame]

DT-S:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmC68w2Mt7I"]Ark Performance DT-S Exhaust on Scion FRS available at ModBargains - YouTube[/ame]

All depends on personal preference, but we do get more GRIP orders than DT-S at the moment. GRIP with a test pipe is indeed one of the best sounds I've heard in a long while from this car, I'd go that route if I had to choose for you. Let me know if I can help!

After hearing the dts with test pipe, I still like the grip more... But what can I say, I'm biased

And I'm curious about the header, especially if it will be catted or not

Barely... But the small amount it is, is pretty much negligible (unless you're in a 90s miata, where every pound and horsepower makes a larger difference because it's such a light car)

IIRC, the dts makes a little more, but it's only like 2-3, if that?

I have the grip and borla UEL with stock everything else. I'm heading up to ARK headquarters sometime within the next few weeks to shoot there videos for show casing...

Trust people and myself when we say ARK is one of the best design and sounding exhaust systems for our frs/brz... The "helmholtz" resonators truely are a blessing

Yes unfortunately. Had to cut up the shield underneath quite a bit to fit the test pipe, but I did leave the hole to line up the fastener.

How much did you cut? I only had to cut off a small portion near the resonantor for it to fit.

Oh awesome. I didn't ask any further than that. Do you know whether the header is EL or UEL? And if they're also making a catted front pipe? I'd like to go with a full ark system but keep one cat if possible.

there are no definiteness, but i can say that it should be EL and it may be non catted. again this is nothing to quote my by and just couple things i've heard here and there, but no set in stone death star plans. i did mention an over pipe and i hope they make one as well. i'd like a full ark exhaust system if possible. my BIG issue now is the fitment of the header with my koyo radiator and vortech .
