I'm not in love with the car, but I can always appreciate uniqueness. I think I would like it a lot more if the suspension was functional. It still looks neat though.

Just out of curiousity, why did you stretch the exhaust so far out of the car? I would have thought that you were going for a more clean look?

Call me crazy but I actually think I'd prefer the wheels with a bit less lip on them. Looks more like a euro style to me, or something that belongs on lux vip. I'd go back to the Porsche wheels.

did racerx make some, i think they are already out? i've always wondered why more people dont go with an adjustable upper in the rear since like you say, the rear only kicks the bottom out.

my only concern with adjustable upper and lower is how much play is there on the drive shaft? because no matter how adjustable all your control arms and links are, the axle is a static length..

I used to have a tow hook (no train handle) but took it off once I got tired of the look. Sometimes people want to try things out to get it out of their system.

The exaggerated exhaust tip and train handle come from the Japanese [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C5%8Ds%C5%8Dzoku"]Bōsōzoku - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] subculture of motorcycles. Bosozoku gangsters used to steal handles off trains in Japan to hang on their tow hooks. The handle "must" drag on the ground to be done right. I thought about doing this when I had my tow hooks on but knew I'd get sick of it fast (like touge monsters I hung on my old cars) so I didn't bother. Interesting to know about the culture, though.

The train handle has been in and out of trend in California for a few years, also where hellaflush started. It's more mimicry than originality because it's bound to happen to any car and this is the first BRZ I've seen do it. @SLICVIC being on the East Coast is sorta late to the game (I like giving him a hard time being his #1 hater though we're all TeamBRZ). East Coast needs to come out w/ something more original. Instead of following old California trends... start one!

Hopefully something less of a public safety hazard... extended exhaust tips are a burning hazard (illegal AFAIK but so is any exhaust that extends past the bumper which is why our stock tips are so tiny). Stickers on tire tread are also unsafe but I'm sure Vic knew that. Interesting to look at and not knocking his style, just sayin' it shows ignorance/disrespect to public safety. Being unique is cool. Ignorance/disrespect... not so much.

I will say I appreciate @SLICVIC's attempts to push the envelope and use of unique wheels. In many ways, he does things that I (deep down inside) want to try til my conscience stops me. So I understand him in that sense and standby him as part of our community. Just wonder if he's aware of those drawbacks I point out that he and all his bandwagoners seem to ignore.

@switchlanez Lol although i think youre a prick for all the trolling in the past im impressed that you know about the background of the tsurikawa haha. Hate the tow hook coming out the bumper but really cant think of any other decent place to hang it, might end up spraying the hook flat gray or black to blend in with the bumper. Althought the hellaflush scene is so cali, gotta give credit to the massive VW scene out here on the east coast. Used to go to alot of local subaru meets until the VW scene over here blew me away, now all i attend are VW and VIP meets. The VW scene definitely had a big impression on my other set up on porsche twists , as the VIP scene had a big inspiration on the new weds. Always been a fan of switching it up; M3 with Volk TE37s, VIP with race wheels XD9s , Meisters etc , or Drift 240s with VIP wheels . Just a breath of fresh air which i try to keep with my car. Cant single handedly start a new trend , but im sure i do inspire .

Ahh, didn't even realize the mixing/matching pattern of thought. Respectable comeback. Better than the "haters gon' hate," "zero fucks given," and "that escalated quickly" cliches and cussing people like to throw around like a disease. Rather see more replies with knowledge/clout/substance than the played out comebacks. Yaah, when I post some stoopid pic (more for lulz than to offend) guess that's trolling. Pointing out practical safety/law facts for everyone's benefit... not sure that's trolling. Obviously I can't tell anyone what to do with their car. But better to speak my mind when I see fit rather than stay silent. Might seem anal but if it saves a life or a kid's hand from getting burned? Worth it.

Touche... but what about soccer mom navigating through parking lot with groceries or baby in arms walking alongside your car, turns the rear corner, then SIZZLE... branded calf. Or walking toddler that lacks cognitive skills for "lessons learned." Or blind folks.

It's a pedestrian safety law similar to hoodline regulations. The original hoodline found on the FT-86 II Concept cuts across closer to the bottom corners of the headlights. In production form, that got replaced by a "character line" with hoodline closer to the top of the headlights. So when a pedestrian gets hit, the hood's edge doesn't chop their legs.

I hate being Mr. Party Foul but it's an ugly truth. There's a subtle and overlooked angle of responsibility when it comes to modding which I hope your followers don't completely disregard/neglect. Natural selection doesn't work when unsafe machines are doing the natural selection.

But to only have one Bōsōzoku style item on his car when the rest of the car is going for the hellaflush look just looks off.

I would love it if the TC went for the Bōsōzoku style because thats such an underrated and unknown style in the states, but the slight touch of it doesn't work for it. If you go Bōsōzoku, you have to go ALL out.
