Tail-lights look pretty decent. Probably the nicest aftermarket ones I've seen to date, just not my style yet. The photos definitely give you a good idea of what to expect, also horray for red.

Fixed that for ya. (While sipping on my Taiwanese boba)

Lol ok. You a Windows or iOS fan? These recent few months at my job have been dedicated to WP8. From a development standpoint, it's a nightmare. Microsoft makes it such a pain to work with these phones. Cool phone, just doesn't feel as versatile to use as Android (maybe I just don't have enough seat time with it).

Getting too offtopic for the thread, but I don't think there is one "best" in the industry. I think each OS line has it's "best" phone. There will never be just one line of smartphone OS.

Back on topic. I just finally noticed the Toms logo people were talking about. I thought they were talking about the sticker. I'm not sure the plastic placement will be too noticeable, but it is a bit like wearing a brand.

Yap, "best" is subjective at best. We can only argue about why we think something to be best. I made a bold blanket statement excluding the OS and know I'm biased.

The TOM'S logo is hardly noticeable. I installed my lights on a Monday and didn't notice the logo til that Friday (you really have to look for it). It's etched from the inside so it feels smooth when you run your fingers over it unlike the raised D.O.T. letters on every lamp of your car. And cleaner than the "TEMPERLITE" and associate cluster of logos etched on all your windows.

Being anal about the TOM's logo means you must hate all your lights and windows by the same reasoning.

I give it about a year or 2 when TOM "knock offs" are out on ebay for 1/3 of the price. Who gives a damn about the TOM's sticker or logo. They're just tail lights and should only cost what non OEM tail lights cost.

Quoting myself from the Cosmetic Mod section:

1) It has D.O.T. lettering on the casing.
2) The casing is clear whereas the JDM version is tinted red.
Edit: Ok to avoid confusion, I was referring to the DOT-approved TOM'S lights sold under Helix. This is different from the JDM TOM's tails that have been re-pinned for USDM harness (because JDM harness is different). So there are 3 kinds:

1) JDM TOM'S tails (unmodified)
2) JDM TOM'S tails modified for US harness
3) USDM TOM'S tails (DOT-approved)
