Squash air freshener?

Every forum that I come across, people recommend This Squash air freshener. I've read reviews and everyone said this is the best. I've never actually been in a car that has this though, is it really this good?

I use it, I like it, and people who ride in my car seem to be pleased by the smell. Only real thing that I wish was slightly better would be the cartridge life span (I change it ~2 months). Nonetheless, this air freshener is hands down better than the tacky AC clip or pine tree styles. At $10, I would hardly consider it a mistake if for some reason you don't like the smell; however, I doubt this will be case

Why do you have an air freshener? Got old banana peels under the seat? Old oily french fries fallen between the seats?

Wow, I remember these. I'm surprised they're still around actually. I had forgotten all about them.

Why not? I mean, not everyone has time to do a full detail on the interior regularly to get that smell. And while a normal car generally doesn't smell bad (experience level: toddler in a Camry,) who says it has to be nasty inside for the owner to want a certain scent inside of it.

My friend just showed me this about 2 months ago, and i am addicted to it.. Every time i get into my car i just sniff and am happy with the awesome smell. But for me my first cartage must of been sitting for while cause the smell only lasted for about a month.

I just keep the interior clean, and I can still get a hint of the new car smell, over a year later.

I've been using these for years now. I only open it halfway to reduce the smell and lengthen the life span.

Which brings up a good question: are there any "real" new car scents to buy? I mean there's TONS of air fresheners that read "New Car Scent" but realistically I don't think they come close.

Can anyone recommend a good one?

Usually my friends that always want to keep that new "leather smell" use this chemical guy Leather Car Scent . It's like a small perfume spray :P

Quick update, I ordered one already. It should be here in like two days. I'll update this post when it arrives and let everyone know how "addicting" it is

I love this air freshener most, I would just get the refill (unless you really want the case) and put it in the area under the center dash ac area. Its really strong even when you keep the vents on it closed, but it only lasts like a week or 2 for being so expensive.

Good ole JDM Squash Scent. Brings me back to my early 2000 Honda days. Never bought into the hype. A car should smell like a car.
