I am really surprised since my 26mpg is with pretty spirited driving. Much different than my Genesis Coupe where I could not get the EPA numbers even if I drove conservative.

IMHO, Toyotaru has been pretty conservative with the EPA numbers on the manual FR-S/BRZ.

Did you trade in all those rx8s or did you just end up keeping them? I'm sensing a theme here.

I think next will be the new RX whenever it comes out. I really like this BRZ so I might just get it out of the bumper to bumper range.

The joke around my office is that when I need an oil change I just get a new car.
Could be worse, you could trade them in whenever you need gas.

You seem to love RX-8. Have fun with the BRZ before it's traded in for another RX-8.

Traded for all those 8's. The 8 is so much damn fun. Going to a 9k redline is fantastic. I really think the 8 was under appreciated. Given its over 10 years old and still has the BRZ beat on hp and torque for a sub 3,000 lb RWD affordable sports car I can only imagine what a modern day one could do.

That said it had crap mpg and a substantial oil thirst.

The BRZ is like a fuel efficient maintenance free (fingers crossed) RX-8. Best replacement I've ever driven. That includes a 12' boxster demo and 11' DCT 135i.

I ordered the BMW in March and took delivery late April. So about 3 months. Try trading in a 2014 with no book on it for value. That was a nightmare. My biggest hit ever.

The Saturn sky was awesome. It was fast as hell and rode nicely. It was just too damn hot here for a topless car without ventilated seats.

I did play with the equalizer settings trying some forum recommended settings. It helped but it still leaves me begging for more sound. I really hope OEM audio plus is as good as everyone says.

Definitely am interested in your thoughts on OEM+ after you get it installed. I have been thinking about it, but also think I can do better myself if I buy speakers on deals as I find them and replace (plus add an amp and small subwoofer).
