Small update. Had the dash trim pieces wrapped in piano black. The cheap faux carbon fiber, which is a vinyl overlay, just wasn't cutting it for me.
And of course the NAV unit. Just waiting for a bunch of parts.

Hey Overland, Glad you got your entune working properly with your iphone 5.
I am still working on getting mine connected. I'm able to get the headunit connected to the internet via the USB cable and the entune iphone app, however I'm having trouble when opening entune applications on the headunit. I get an error message saying I need a service provider (I forget the exact message). Did you run into anything like this? Thanks in advance. |

I also saw a video on youtube saying that you needed to download the app directly on your phone. I did do that but can't tell you if that solved my issue.

@Chillz
So when you connect your iPhone 5 to the USB port open the entune app and make sure that it is not connected. If it looks like it is connected (will say disconnect) unplug it and click on disconnect from car. Plug it back into the USB port and say connect to car. On the stereo it should ask if you want to connect for the internet. Say yes and you are going to be good to go, hopefully. It works well for me. Good luck.
