I was thinking more of a timed relay that activates when you start the car to "hold" the traction control button down long enough to turn it off, but you would still be able to turn it back on for winter/rain etc

Just wait till you have the traction control deactivated and it reactivates itself all on its own ...that's quite fun...not

@TimR again, nice job taking first in STX today on only tires and camber bolts. I can't imagine how fast you would be if your car was modified to max STX spec.

Thanks man. And thanks for the quick spin in your car. Love the feel of it even just on the short drive

Anyone here good with touchup paint?

Some mom on a cell phone in her SUV in front of me drove off the road halfway into the ditch before she realized it, then swung back in from of me and threw a giant rock which somehow managed to slam into my drivers side door and leave 3 nice deep chips

@DJCarbine:
Did the lady pull over and if so did she offer to pay?
That stinks anyhow and I was wondering the same thing, How close is the touch up paint to the color.

She pretended like nothing happened, traffic was moving at 65-70mph and I doubt she knew she kicked up so many rocks or if she even cared.

I ordered some touchup paint from a website, I'm going to try and mask the chips with painters tape then fill with the touchup paint. Should be able to wetsand/polish the touchup paint reasonably well

I'm just glad there is no dent

I was always given the tip to use a toothpick for applying the paint. Also, a lot of the new paints have paint/clearcoat combos.
