Happy Fourth of July!
We should see a big spike in traffic to 86DRIVE.com this weekend... Just dropped the long awaited featurette on Derekchu88's car on the site. ![]() http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40758

ok so we need to decide on a route for our drive/cruise this Saturday.... open to suggestions. My ideas would be to do either Mines Rd/Mt. Hamilton, or La Honda/Stage Rd. Start time 9:00AM. Stop for lunch/brunch somewhere after for those who want to.

i know i know we can take the stage route the one that overlooked showed me and visit a mysterious town hidden behind mountains and hidden forests. We could do Calavars road although it's dangerous because of no rails. Throwing more road names. Pinehurst rd. North Gate Rd. Corral Hollow road. China grade.Soquel San Jose Road.

Mind if I hop in? Been so long since I had a proper drive. And I just got new tires installed too so I wanna test them out.

haha ok I've narrowed it down to two choices - go to 86DRIVE to vote! quick poll closes at 5PM today so we can decide. Saturday July 6 CRUISE. Which route? Mines Rd/Mt. Hamilton (Livermore-San Jose) La Honda/Stage Rd (Woodside-Pescadero) Winner will be our route tomorrow - Meet up at 9AM.

Voted! Tough decision actually.
Update: Google maps tells me the road leading up to Mt. Hamilton is amazingly awesome!

I voted Mines/Hamilton just b/c of the later start. Need to be home sooner to prep for the weekend's comps in San Jose.

yes it is, one of my favorite drives actually. well both of these are great choices but I will favor Mines just slightly since it allows a later wake/departure time for me haha.
