So basically, net gains of 17% (30hp- Moto-Mike) is the max anyone has seen at this point in NA applications, using the same dyno for baseline and final runs and including members who use e85, I went back and re-read the whole thread and that was the biggest gain I've seen, is that right?

Like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, dont really care what ur final number is, its the delta on the same dyno that paints the actual picture

My baseline was 160. With full exhaust and e85 I pulled 198.9 for a 20% gain. With a drop-in or intake it would have been about a 22-23% gain (5-7 hp more). Same dyno.

Borla UEL, front pipe, overpipe, catback and intake + visconti tune...color me impressed.

if you dont mind sharing, what's the total $ you've spent?

good god. um....probably close to 6k. also: it's the 3" perrin exhaust, not the 2.5. I think the shop knew I was going FI eventually, so just ordered 3". oh yeah, and add another $3700 for SC

edit: and it's actually headerback now, not just cat back.

yes, comparing apples to apples and getting increases of >25% is great fun, I look forward to the FI vs NA comparison feedback after goose installs the innovate!

He also had a mustang dyno showing 173. Mustangs read low, but is 23 peak hp above baseline.. that or 27hp below the 200 pull. It's unclear.

Dyno numbers "200hp" etc are just for show, the deltas and % increase from baseline tell the story on effectiveness of mods and tuning...so you bring up a good point if the mustang dyno shows only +23hp net, its very interesting...the deltas shouldnt be that different (15% vs 25%)

I'm still surprised there is no NA solution. I doubt there'll be any. I have the feeling everybody is waiting for the factory turbocahrged FA20, especially the one of the upcoming WRX, because it is to be high revving, have alot of troque and no more lag thanks to electric supercharger (as BMW M3/M4 F8X).

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 100 hp/liter at the crank considered the holy grail of a factory engine? The fact that this one delivers that without resorting to any kind of factory FI is pretty impressive, correct? So being able to squeeze anything appreciable from it is a big deal.
