Yup, just disengage, and it'll come on. Then it will stay on till the car is shut off.

Any update on a techstream or DIY on keeping DRLs always on (dimmed) with HIDs on?
TIA

Why would you want that? Wouldn't the HID's overpower the LED DRL strip?
And on another note, where are the high beams located?

Hid's have an actuator to lower the cutoff plate so they act as highbeams

Because that is how the lights on my Lexus function, and they look really good. The DRLs dim with the HIDs on. More for aesthetic purposes than anything functional. I've seen them work this way on other parts around the world too, so if I bought a 10 Series to be closest to a GT86, I want it to look/function like one.

This is what goes through my head when I see people driving with their fogs on in the middle of the day or in the city at night when it's not foggy:

"Your fog lights are on. It's not foggy. You're a douche bag."

Let's face it-- for a lot of people it seems like it is a contest to see who can have the most lights turned on at the same time on their vehicle.

Yes looks cheesy. If it were real vents I'd prefer that Instead. Part the reason I went raven on first frs, it hides the cheese. Lol

Then put in some real APR CF brake ducts like I will be.

Fogs aren't necessary at all. However, based on the idiotic way people drive around here, I'd prefer to have as much light radiating off my car as possible. If I could I'd mount one of those multi-colored disco ball lights on my roof.

So yeah, the next time you see someone w/ their fog lights on and call them a douche, it could be they turned them on because they think everyone else is a douche.
