Ya never know honestly. I had 2 friends in this contest and they got picked. The reason Grimmspeed may be taking long to post up is because they are still picking the other 3 or maybe other spots are still open. So until you hear the official word ya never know.

I was one of the lucky five but I assume until contracts are signed and everything is squared away they won't have an official five. Good luck guys!

I was not planning to post prior to @GrimmSpeed, but in the interest of those that applied, I was also one of the lucky individuals to receive one of the 5 sponsorships.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting up right away, I just wanted to get a confirmation from each of the folks that we contacted in case things didn't work out and we could pick someone else. Those that were selected this round have been notified.

First of all, THANK YOU!!!!

The number of applicants was overwhelming and you guys have some seriously high-caliber cars out there. That made the decision surprisingly difficult. If you weren't picked, it's nothing personal at all! There was no points system or anything like that; that's not our style. People were selected based on a number of factors. Your car, the parts on your car, your level of participation in the community, your history with GrimmSpeed and your enthusiasm are just a few factors. I just can't stress enough how much we appreciate everyone's excitement and support. We'll definitely keep an eye on this thread for future sponsorships/shows/etc.

I wish I could buy each and every one of you a beer for taking the time to apply, but since I'm out in Minnesota, I'll do the next best thing. If you applied and weren't selected, make a note on your next order with us and I'll include a reservoir sock as a thank you! Alternatively, we'll be out at Subiefest, so come find us, let us know that you applied for the 86Fest sponsorship and we'll make it happen.
