All credit goes to the photographer(s)! Their work is worth every penny!

Can't wait to gather my favorites together in ultra HD then bring them to Costco to have printed on big canvas tiles.

It's worth the trip! I might do Road Atlanta once more this year in October but I'm most eager to head West two hours to Barber MSP in December.

Forza 4 does the elevation drop through turn 12 no justice at all! It's WAY steeper in reality.

I can tell from the videos! Looks scary in real life; come off the drop too fast into 12... Hello Wall!!

Amazing car, and amazing thread.

I really think I want to track my car this time around.
Any recommendations on where to start? I'm in Atlanta too

Quick question...did the de-badging leave any holes? Meaning when you removed the "Subaru" & "BRZ" did it leave holes like the main Subaru emblem would?

It happens... http://goo.gl/O620u

I always tell my students to NEVER go wide open through turn 12, I don't care how much grip/aero you THINK you have, it's a BAD idea until you reach the flag stand!

Thanks! I recommend starting with at least one autocross (SCCA is a good club to Solo with around here) to familiarize yourself with your car and the way it handles at low speeds and quick changes of direction. Auto-x is cheap and fun, but beware as soon as you track your car on a Road Course, you'll be hooked.

From there you can sign up for a HPDE at a track with the club of your choice (I run with the Porsche Club, always have) via different websites. www.clubregistration.net is what I use to find HPDE events coming up in my area and register for them. Our best local tracks are Road Atlanta, Atlanta Motorsports Park, and Roebling Road down near Savannah. Roebling is a great beginner's track with plenty of runoff and it's relatively flat.

There are many other clubs that do track days that aren't on that website though. Chin Motorsports, Hooked On Driving, iTrack Motorsports, to name a few.

DON'T FORGET TO BUY HPDE INSURANCE. Shit happens. Lockton Motorsports are very affordable and offer coverage for most events.

No holes, no residue. Use a hair dryer and a credit card. Follow up with a little goo-gone if you leave residue.

[QUOTE=ATL BRZ;346721]I've named her Melanie, which is the French form of the Latin 'Melania', derived from the Greek 'Melas', meaning 'black, dark'.

thank you love information like this...

fantastic car. I love the black on this car, wish it had less metallic tho in the sun, or finer flakes. other than that it's almost the perfect "color" for this car, black is actually one of my fav's, lack of photons, you see reflection, just as glass. 1/24 probability function btw (Feynman taught me via historical lectures), glass light reflection..~4% of the photons bounce back at you, the rest go through the clear coat into the black...this is my thinking.
