Subaru authorized the fix and since then everything works perfect.
What I was saying is that I have no GPS antenna issues. Are you referring to the SiriusXM antenna, which is separate form the GPS antenna?

sooo educate me a bit.. With the Beat Sonic..Do we loose any capability??? XM/HD/NAV ????
An option I am checking on right now is a new Legacy Sharkfin..in Factory Colors.. I just have to see if it is compatible with our connections... I sure hope so as that would be a great mod... as long as it would work. Will keep you advised

It bolts up but is non-functional. If function is a priority then you'll want a cover or short mast instead.

A modified Nissan antenna apparently works but XM is gone and radio reception is likely an issue.

I'm sure I can find a picture somewhere, but I've had the VG antenna since August of last year and it's definitely still holding up. Paint match is perfect versus the Beat-Sonic and I've noticed no loss in reception versus the stock antenna listening to XM radio daily. GPS is still terrible but no antenna change will fix that.
