The calculator only gives 6.05 if you've specified RWD. For FWD, such as that of the FR-S, the calculator says 6.548 seconds.

Dude, the FR-S is RWD. Otherwise it would be nothing more than a Toyota Civic Si and 90% of us wouldn't care about it.

Thanks. Mind and fingers weren't cooperating earlier today.

Edit: I think the source of my brain fart was the Scion tC thread found here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2988, as well as this data point from Motor Trend which got a hard-to-believe 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds for the tC: http://www.motortrend.com/oftheyear/.../scion_tc.html

I'm not sure if I've ever laughed this hard from anything before.

If you were a troll, I would say this was the most successful trolling yet.

(The best part is that FRS stands for Front-Engined Rear-Drive Sport)

Hey everyone! I'm the maker of this video, glad to see it's sparked a little discussion here

Just for the record, I've been lurking since late 2009, but never felt like creating an account to discuss on the forums... but I guess I'm here now!

I read a comment about this particular stretch of road being downhill... I had no idea! If you'd be so kind as to refer me to a nice, level, straight piece of road in Gran Turismo 5, I'd be more than happy to post up a new video to compare acceleration times!

And for the record, I don't have a steering wheel setup; just using my good ol' PS3 controller!

Thanks guys, and I'm glad to finally become a member of this community.

Special Stage 7 should have a long straigh that you can test.
