I ordered from Chris over at CTP Parts - http://www.gt86ownersclub.co.uk/foru...topic3169.html

He's a real cool guy and very easy to work with. I would definitely reccomend him to anyone for his great customer service.

Pro pics will prolly be next month if everything else goes as planned. I was going to install some of the "universal" fit hood struts but was pretty grossed out by the lack of thought that went into the mounting hardware. I've got some Syms Dampers on order.
Late question, but stumbled upon this thread. Did the JDM speaker surrounds come with the speaker grill, or did you have to order separately. I also read somewhere you need 3 extra screws. Can you clarify? Maybe give part #'s? Thanks

Uggggh!! I don't think that I have the part numbers. I'll check to see if I can find them.

The speaker grilles were a real chore to order that required going through a couple different vendors that I can't in good conscience reccomend either of them.

First I received the surrounds. Then I received the speaker covers. Then I received the silver trim rings.

It was really painfull and sucked. I think that japanparts now has the "full" kit available and this is who I will reccomend to order through.

You want to make sure though that where you order from, you receive three individual parts for left and right sides.

No worries, thanks for the quick reply! This is what I feared. I'm thinking it might be easier to go through JPM Coachworks. Heard/seen great things and don't have to worry about pieces.

I can't even remember the part number and there isn't one on it. It was originally for my 2001 Prelude that I had over a decade ago.

Not to thread jack, but you probably read that from me in the JDM knee pad install thread. You need the silver trim insert to fill the gap between the pad and grille. Part number for screws is: SU003-02917.

I ordered all mine from Nigel-JDMParts. I generally prefer Japanparts.com, but at the time I didn't see those parts on there. Nigel is decently priced for some items, but outrageous for others. Japanparts is almost always decently priced. Between the two you'll break the bank.

I did the same thing where I ordered the pads and grille, thinking I didn't need the ring insert, then found a thread that confirmed that you can't reuse the crappy plastic "ring" on the stock USDM speaker covers, so I ordered the rings right after that. It looks much better anyways with the ring.

HI,

Will you put the UKDM Subaru Door Foil together?

I am curious how it combine with the window foil.

Thanks.

Mike at Holdcroft. He's a super cool guy. I've been working with him for a while now. He can tailor fit the shipping to the US pretty cheaply. I'm working to see if he can get us more of the Euro-ish parts.

They are just like the SPT decals here - http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/pr...oducts_id=1711
Get a chance to talk to Mike about this? I'm looking at those floor mats. Mine are worn prematurely from use as all-weather mats and having my foot rested them for almost 25k miles.

I'm also looking at the front bumper chrome trim and trunk chrome trim. Thanks!

No, I won't be combining the door and window foil. I'm having a hard enough time adjusting to the window foil. I've never really purposely applied vinyl like this to my car.

Mike doesn't have access to the LHD floor mats that we use. That was one of my first requests from him and what started our relationship.

You can feel free to reach out to him over Ebay/email or I can PM his email to you. He's a cool guy and has been a dream to work with.
