I just had to cut the ends; I just used a sharp knife. The stirp was way long so I had plenty of room to guess and check. I cut the ends so they mated up to each side of the spoiler and then cut parallel to one end to make it the right length.

It would be hard to do a write up unless someone in New England wants me to make another one for them; but I would need their car to size against since I now have the strip in the spot I where it needs to go.

I just installed this onto my car and IMO it finishes off the rear really well. The install went all good until I was in a rush to place the STI sticker on the flap and it's a little off center.

I'll live with it for now, but having an aluminum badge > sticker with this piece. Time to hit up eBay.

I'd love to see a "replica" out of CF or something like that. It would look very good.

I got mine in. I sold my STI sticker because it looked too tiny to me and I didn't like that it was just a sticker. So instead I orderd the 2011+ STI front lip badge replacement. Hopefully it's small enough to look okay on the flap. It comes in on Friday, so I'll letcha know then... with pictures!

I should throw on the flap anyways, but it's been raining like crazy. Today might be okay though.

Really considering this. Downside is I have to buy the limited spoiler first.

Dude, if you don't have the Limited spoiler, PLEASE purchase something else! You'll be better for it in the end. You already have a clean slate for a trunk. I have to either trunk swap (won't be happening while I'm in Alaska) or I have to buy a new trunk and have it painted. I wouldn't mind having two trunks, I guess. Two Trunkz!

This is what I wrestle with daily.
However, If I do any spoiler, it will be OEM. Not a huge fan of any aftermarket ones, sans an APR GT wing (track only). For that, I would absolutley get another trunk.

I agree, none of them are wowing me. I pretty much only like the ones Toyota has produced or the STI lip spoiler, which is why I want a clean trunk. The STI one paint-matched is pretty neat!

Ugh.... I hated that STi one when I first saw it. But now I'm starting to think it would look ok in person. Plus its probably cheaper than the limited....

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

My STI sticker emblem came in early, so I threw on the flap.

The emblem I got off eBay from an STI front lip spoiler JUST fits the height of the flap... I'm not really crazy about it, but I'll rock it for now. Would've like another couple mm shorter, but oh well. @L4NDO

That emblem looks like the exact one I purchased. I think there's a eBay seller that has smaller badges similar to what @DSOmegaX had placed on his gurney flap.

Look up BaysonR for the badge. Their shop is close to me and I was planning to see how the badges look in person. If I do get a chance I'll let you know how they look, just in case you want to swap out your current one. BaysonR's badges are replicas though.

Yeah let me know. If there's one slightly smaller than this but slightly larger than the sticker then I'll totally nab it! I'll probably reuse this one for another spot.
