I've come across a few posts that seem at the surface to criticize the driver's choice of mods. After reading them, laughing, smiling, sometimes sad. I feel the common thread here in these type of posts, is that the FR-S or BRZ owner is very emotionally attached to his ride and takes close scrutiny on other family members choices. This young Toyobaru family will have it's growing pains. In short Toyota/Subaru has manufactured something very special to have it's owners/drivers so careful of the brand/vehicles image. It's a Drivers Car and no matter what the exterior looks like, I sure their owners love them like I love my pet Rottweiler mix.

I also would like to add that some people just have stickers all over their car. When I see stickers, I think of 1/ Sponsored ads 2/ Rice 3/ Clueless about sport car taste |

I'm pretty sure Toyota did it to revive a stale brand. I don't know of many "first time buyers" that could afford an almost $28k car.

I think it's funny how one of the major issues us FRS owners face is having to deal with Scion's brand image, and proving that "we aren't like that, I swear!"
