Honestly the dual bolt pattern was my main complaint with the XXR wheels. I wonder how you ended up with this version - look great! Get some pics mounted

Sorry about the delayed reply Vten and djdnz! I knew these were drilled like this from the start, and I also didn't like the dual drilled look.

I first want to say I am not affiliated with the following company, I just want to help out fellow members:

I ordered these from motorsportsr.com but I called (909) 989-1807 and talked to Jason. He may have more sets in stock and might be able to order more. Let him know Brandon sent you, so he can gauge traffic coming in from the forum.

They are located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and I believe they ship nationally for $120 but I picked mine up locally. Hope this helps you guys with another source for these wheels!

WHEELS: XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 flat black 5x100 only
TIRES: Hankook Evo V12 225-40-18

Can I haz XXR club membership plz thank u

Don't think I've seen anyone post this exact same setup yet:
18x8.75 +35 in 235/40-18 Hankook Ventus1 noble2 (square)
Eibach Sportlines
F/R camber: -1.2 (maxed OEM camber bolt)/-2.0 (natural)

I used data from @DarrenDriven's sticked wheel thread and geometry to approximate fitments. The following are expected distances out from hub using stock 17x7 +48 as 0mm reference.

Ideal fitment to be flush on Sportlines drop:
F: 25.8mm
R: 36mm

XXR w/ front cambolt fitment:
F: 27.225mm (square setup but front neg cambolt makes this number smaller)
R: 35.228mm

Delta between XXR+cambolt fitment and ideal fitment:
F: +1.43mm (poke)
R: -0.8mm (tuck)

I calculated all this before buying anything to give myself confidence to buy everything because, like I said, I couldn't find this setup having been done anywhere. My numbers may be hard to follow but just know that after install, the visual results somewhat agree. I see poke in front and tuck in rear (both tiny). But my numbers are off... rear looks more tucked in person than the calculation suggests. >_<

Right after I installed these of course I'd find out sgmotoring/MotorsportsR has these in 5x100 single-drilled. Slight remorse there but I resolved that dual-drilled fills out the lug pocket design better + 10 holes to match 10 spokes + more holes shave weight.

Hey guys, I've been searching around for an answer to my question to no avail. Can the stock tires be safely used on the 527 in 17x8.25?

Car looks really good! What are your wheel measurements and what size tires? Where did you get the xxr 527s in matte bronze? The xxr site only has them available in gold. Thanks!
