Just finishing up my car right now and was planning to head over to 86fest. It's a daily driver and never tracked but I'm definitely looking to learn to drive my RWD after spending so much time behind my Bugeye.

Making it Sexy:
- Traded trunk with FR-S to get rid of the wing
- White Side Markers
- VIS Carbon Fiber Fender Flares (Wanted to be distinctive)
- Tint front to back

What I'm Riding On:
- Rota Grid Hyperblack 18" Staggered 8.5"/9.5"
- BF Goodrich KDW 2

Not Crashing:
- Stoptech Front BBK

How it Rides:
- Racecomp Yellow Springs with bump stops
- Racecomp Sway Bar set
- Whiteline Com-C Strut Mounts
- Whiteline Reach Camber Kit
- Whiteline Rear Crossmember Bushing

Making it Bump:
- Alpine SP60c Speakers in the front
- JL XD700 5 Channel Amp under the seat
- JL Sub Controller mounted under the steering wheel column.
- JL Stealth Box
- Lots and lots and lots of Hushmat (no more rattles anywhere)

Making it Fly:
- HKS Supercharger Kit
- Deatschwerks Fuel Injector Kit (700cc)
- Deatschwerks Fuel Pump
- Perrin Oil Cooler (Last thing I want is to overheat)
- ECUTEK Tuned
- ACT Clutch
- ACT Lightweight Flywheel
- Revworks UEL Header (Waiting to be installed) (I have a boxer engine and it better damn well sound like it)
- Perrin Overpipe (Waiting to be installed)
- Perring Front Pipe with High Flow Cat (Waiting to be installed) (Little quieter and environmentally friendly/less stinky)
- Nvidia Q300 Exhaust (Waiting to be installed) (Want my car to be as quiet as it can be yet still sound great)

I plan to up the boost to 10 or 11psi and retune when the exhaust is on. After that I'll post my dyno sheets and give more feedback on power. My initial goal was 300 at the flywheel.

*Edit* If it makes any difference I believe I'm going to pick up a set of TOMS taillights before the event.

For your consideration

Hello, my name is Erwin proud owner of a brand new whiteout FRS ( #whiteoutmaddy ) I am also a proud resident of Southern California and a member of the Valley86SoCal FRS Club. Current modifications are very simple , Redout tail lights with Vinyl Wrap and a Five Axis trunk lip. Other modification plans for the FRS include a set of Enkei RPF1, lowering springs or Coilovers, LED light upgrade and maybe a Vortech Supercharger in the future. I plan to replace the stock exhaust before 86 Fest. I attended 86 Fest last year and I was blown away by the number of FRS/BRZ in attendance. I am attending 86 Fest again this year and I would love to represent Grimmspeed.

My FRS is completely stock and would be a great canvas for your products. Thank you.

Hi Matt. With that being said, you guys can probably ask a fellow sponsored member to sell your stuff for you. I worked for a company who sent me things and I sold it when they wernt able to make it out to events. Pm me if you have any questions or are interested in a third party to represent Grimmspeed.

For Your Consideration

Project: Down Right FR-S

My build is inspired from Ryu from Street Fighter. Not only in appearance (White, Black and Red) but also in spirit. My goal is to have a track ready daily driver that can survive the day-to-day driving of LA streets but also be track ready with just a few adjustments. I strive to make my FR-S the best she can be and to progressively improve myself as a driver. Its been a great learning experience over the last year, learning how to drive stick, work on her, and drive her to her limits. While we do like attending car the occasional car show when time permits, one things my FR-S is NOT is a show car. She is a road warrior! She's got more paint chips and cone marks then I'd like, but I think it gives her character. She's been towed more times then i'd like to admit but it was all part of the growing pains that we've gone through the last year. Just in this first yea,r we easily put on over 30,000 miles on the odometer driving all over CA. Together we've gone camping in Yosemite, played in the snow in Big Bear, had road trips to Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, and Sacramento. You might find us at one of the many local meets in SoCal or at a driving events such as 86Fest, Road to SEMA, Scion FR-S Drive of LA, Tracking/autox, or just cruising the streets of Los Angeles and Orange County. In this first year I did 4 track events, and hope to do 6+ this year. When I'm not driving somewhere or trolling these forums, I spend my days as the "IT Guy" by day and a avid gamer at night. I will be participating at the AutoX event in this years 86fest and it would be an honor and a privilege to be sporting your banner.

Thanks you for your consideration

-DantheDirt

Damn me not checking the SoCal forum. Lol. Since you haven't posted winners I'll give it a shot anyway since I love you guys. I'll only be attending the Sunday portion of the event due to umpiring the Western Region Little League tournament and it completing on the first day of 86 Fest.

My name is Jonah (aka Finch to my friends) and I have owned my Whiteout FRS since 5/31/2012. I was not originally going to buy the first model year but couldn't help not be a part of this community from the very get go. I don't have many mods as I am currently an AmeriCorps member (ie I don't get a salary but rather a "living" stipend, lol) but I do what I can. My car is my DD, with a over 27k miles with the help of the 150+ mi round trip commute; and that's with a little over 5 months spent in the shop for various reasons.

As well as being part of the Norcal Owners Club, I am also a member of Norcal 86 Drive, a group of dedicated weekend warriors who meet up in the early hours to drive our favorite local backroads (86drive.com). I recently attended my first autox at 86Expo and am hooked. I can't wait to start my new job in August and begin to attend more regularly.

Mods

Exterior:

JDM fog light bezels with Subaru Outback fog lights
OEM Toyota mudguards
Helix JDM style clear side markersLEDs (front/rear turn signals, side markers, license plate, and reverse)
Meng Motorsports V2 5K HID kit
Grimspeed front plate relocator

Interior:
LEDs (dome, trunk)
Custom AT "+" "-" fix with MT shift boot

Engine:
Grimpspeed Limited Ed. oil cap #17
Grimspeed Limited Ed.battery tie down #17
Zeta Performance Stage 2 air filter

Suspension:
RCE Yellow Springs

I'm not much of a photographer so I don't take many solo shots of my car, but as part of Norcal 86 Drive I do attend many meets, both big and small, so I grabbed what shots I could.

In stock form at the first Nor Cal meet July 2012 (Sponsored by SF Toyota)

Cruising Skyline Blvd in the Santra Cruz mountains

Getting ready to check my oil on the way home from 86Expo

86Expo AutoX

Bad interior shot (I can't take the whole thing cuz it's too dirty, lol)

As a bonus, I would accept a half sponsorship of just the MCB, hood struts, and strut bar as I already have the other 3 pieces. Or just a t-shirt would be nice

I can't believe I just saw this thread.. I'm not sure if you guys have picked 5 people yet, but I'd LOVE to be considered as one of your 5 if it is still possible to be in the running! If it is still possible, here is my entry!

My name is Sheena, 31yrs old and a Pediatric RN in San Francisco, California.

I absolutely love my car along with all of its history... I've appropriately named her "Diamond"... since diamonds are a girl's best friend, so the saying goes... and I have a beautiful shift knob that resembles one.. it just seemed like the name that fit the car the best.

I try to attend all of the meets, drives, shows and events all over both Northern and Southern California that exhibit how awesome this car is. I drive up and down California to experience it all! I am an enthusiast for both spectrums of the racing world and the show world for this car and have tried to create a sort of hybrid show but race-capable car. At the first meet I attended with the Norcal Owners Club at Lake Del Valle in Livermore, CA on April 27, 2013, my car WON "Best Female Owned FRS"!! And on May 5, 2013 I joined the Dynamic Driving Academy at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. I look forward to participating in future car shows to show off all of the hard work, blood, sweat and tears put into my car!
