That might be true; has nothing to do with my point though. Some Subaru reds are ok on pics and bleh in-person. Some are ok on pics and awesome in person.

The Red on BRZ isn't my favorite Subaru red, it's not quite up to 05 lgt garnet red, but it's a decent-looking paint in person nonetheless.

Id love to see these scholarly, scientific, peer-reviewed studies/ publications as well as the distinction that RED sports cars indicate this claim but sports cars in general do not.

As a physician I can state this is a fact. Micropenis. King tut had it. Which was obvious to his people because he had a red 911 turbo.

What is the community coming to?
First we have a traitor in our midst buying a Ford, now we have sneaky vendor who has been holding out on us!

Wish you all the best with the new venture

In other news, I managed to take about 5 years off the life expectancy of my clutch last night. Spent 3.5 hours getting from Royal Oak to Waterford, almost all of it in 1st gear. Woodward had a river at 14 mile that had disabled several cars with more ground clearance than me. Tried 13 mile to Telegraph but that was closed. Got to Telegraph via 12 mile to find that almost every stop light on Telegraph was out. Finally got to M59 to find that it too had a great big river across it. Managed to very carefully ford this one. Never been so happy to get out of my FR-S than I was last night.
Hopefully no-one else was much inconvenienced by the wretched weather.

Haha you guys would have laughed if you saw how hard I was working to get any other color but red when I bought mine. The transmission was falling out of my dodge and being in the first week or release they only had one other car in black and it was an automatic. So I took my red car and I'm just waiting for something to start shrinking lol.

Anyone interested in a really cheap aftermarket exhaust? I mean really cheap!!! I'd like to sell one that I have in my garage.

I bought the J2 dual tip exhaust from ebay. It's the dual tip.. not the quad tip. I bought it back in May hoping I could get it installed prior to my trip to Carlisle PA for that show I went to. Well.. it didn't come in time.. then life got busy.. and I didn't get around to install until about 2 weeks after.

When I tried to install I found that it wasn't a perfect fit. The exhaust hangers need a little bending to get it to install without bumping on the rear suspension arm. It also needs a few new gaskets because the sizing of the ones they sent me wasn't quite right in all the connections. I was able to get a small refund back from the ebay seller.

I contacted a local shop to ask about having it installed professionally (to bend the hangers or even a pipe if necessary to get a perfect fit, and to get proper gaskets) and they said it would be somewhere between $100 and $150 to install.. maybe cheaper if I took the stock exhaust off myself to save them a little bit of labor.

It does come with downpipe as well by the way. It's never been run.. I did a test fit (when I found it needed a little adjusting), so i took it back off. It is brand new.. but will have a few dirty finger prints on it.

So I paid $425 for it.. cheap!
I got a partial refund of $100.

So I'm into it for about $325 right now.

If anyone local wants it.. i would sell it for $275. You can get it fit and installed and probably still be under $400.

You can find a few review threads on this site.. there are some youtube videos as well.. they have a nice sound.. supposed to be almost drone free due to the helmholz resinators, etc.. It's really an excellent value.

Anyone interested?

Oh.. reason for selling.. I noticed that the Megan Racing exhaust finally came out and I think I want that one instead.

Um I can already tell from your self righteous, judgmental, arrogant, mean spirited posts on this forum that your penis is subatomic. Your sports car is just one of many manifestations of your clinically depressing organ.

Edit- noticed this was jasper; please disregard however feel free to copy and paste this to as many posts as you'd like.

Damn right. Ps I heard a Megan racing exhaust a few days ago and my god what a dirty dirty sound. So deliciously aggressive. I think your car will thank you.
