Fun roads near San Diego

I'm having some trouble finding some fun roads to drive around here as I've never had a car that made it worth while to go out of my way to find a fun winding road to drive.

Would any of you mind giving me some insight on the most fun canyon type winding roads? Thanks!

Drive from the 15&76 to top of Palimar mtn to a place called Mother's Kitchen. There is a winding road leading up to the top called S Grade. Like the touge in japan. With more curves.

I'm not seeing the Clinton Kieth one, the road looks short, what about the 74? that road looks like a blast but the lanes look really narrow

the 74 is okay, but there's nothing too intense, but its frequently busy with traffic and commuters. Makes for a great cruise though, just dont expect to really attack the corners, cause you usually get stuck behind a truck/yaris/other slow vehicle.

however, if you're up in the area, hit it up. Its decent if you happen to be driving that way/area, but I wouldn't go out of my way necessarily to drive it if you're looking for a hardcore road
