Interesting! I only received the updated stock file, no custom tune. That explains my confusion

I've reached out to Tony, but I know he's busy. There was very little explanation, so I wasn't sure what the status of our custom tunes were. I assume all of your previous tune settings just transferred over?

As far as I can tell the tune is the same as my past tunes. Still have my higher redline and the car feels better than stock. So it must be a custom tune. Give him a few days. I'm sure you'll have your tune soon.

^This,

If you have the real DI popping (and not just exhaust backfires) the tune won't change anything. It will help AFTER the seals are replaced though.

I'm heading on the 10hr trip tomorrow afternoon so look for updates over the weekend. Keep in mind I will be with the girlfriend and 24 LeMans is this weekend so I may not have time to update promptly but I will do my best.

Have a good weekend everyone
I realize that damage was already done in all likelihood, but I'm curious if you had a "pop-free" 10hr trip anyway. Any pops since you flashed it?

I didn't have any pops all weekend. None on the 10 hour trip here and none in the local commutes. I am driving 10 hrs back later today. I will report back if there is any popping on the way back.

In short, no pops at all since I flashed the update.

Guys if your DI are popping it will not just do it every now and then, it will do it All The Time, under moderate acceleration to WOT in any gear. You will know...

Any references towards this? I've mostly heard of it happening every now and then for most people until the car has an issue holding idle which at that point it's pretty much done.
