I should have my front pipe in any day, so with the header, WMI, and I plan to custom fit my AEM filter onto the kit....I expect to be running around 250-260whp. I'll look into a smaller pulley/injectors as required later.

The delay might come more on the availability of the WMI install. It's more cost effective to have it tuned then with the WMI versus going back for it. We'll see how it works out.
I'm pretty biased so you know I vote Ecutek, plus John V has a great tune for the Innovate Kit already made so we can just flash that tune, you can drive it around until time for the meet and then we can put it on the dyno

I know another member who has BRZedit and he had a pretty horrible experience a few weeks ago, I have no idea if its related to the management or not but his car suddenly reverted to stock tune and blew a ton of fuses with his Vortech kit.

I'm leaning towards EcuTek but I'm not sold on said tuner. I'll let you know what pans out. It arrives Monday and then I'm taking a trip. Depending on the availability of the WMI kit I might try and flash and wait or do it all in a swoop. Any hold up on an ecutek license? It might be worthwhile for me to bring it up and install/flash versus install and tow to ptuning for the WMI tune. I know you already got the cable.

So question for the locals. Can I get away with just throwing my EZ Pass up on the dash when I need it instead of mounting it to the window? I was going to get a suction cup mount but they changed the shape of the EZ Pass and the available holders won't fit.
TIA

Yay. At least the brz is fast enough to evade CRAZY ladies in the new 535i. Warning, rant to follow...

So I'm doing my normal commute when I come up behind a 2011+ 535i. As I'm coming up behind her she slows down drastically. I figure no matter, maybe she thought she was speeding so I putt putt along behind her since my turn is like a half mile away anyway. We come up to my turn at a red light. She pulls strait into the intersection and stops, the. Sits there for a few seconds before decing to turn right after a shuttle beep from me.

This must have been enough to set her off but I thought nothing of it yet. We get on the on ramp to 695 and she guns it enough to blast some carbon out her tailpipes. Meh, whatever. I go for fuel economy on most mornings so I putt putt along eventually comin up behind her. Again she slows down only this time she is on the beltway doing 5 under and matching the speed of a new fiesta next to us in the right lane.

Luckily I stay pretty far back because she just hits the brakes now. I give the wtf George Luke Picard gesture and she just starts pointing randomly to the right, where the fiesta is. Makes no sense.

Anyhow she finally edged up enough for me to squeeze through so I went around her, got back in my lane and flashed my brakes showing that its not as fun as she thinks. Yes, this may have been childish but I didn't lock em up or anything like she was doing.

She then comes flyin up on me so I gassed it a bit at first. She jumps into the right lane and swerves at my car. Now I decide its time to go. So I gun it and she does the same. Ah hell, another crazy. I was surprised to see that I pulled on her the whole way(ilbeit barely) until she finally gave up and threw a temper tantrum in her car throwin fists and flashing her lights until she was out of my sight.

Rant done. It's just nice to see the brz actually go for once when I needed it too. I normally get beat by accords and Camry v6's because I'm not trying to drive around at 6k everywhere I go.

Sometimes I wish I had a morning rage in my commute. Are you seeking roommates or a personal driver?

I'll be at AI tomorrow and SCCA on Sunday. Pretty sure Chad and Fred will be as well.
