perrin or invidia N1??????
hey everyone, I have been struggling with this question for a month already...cannot decide which one to get.. please help me out here.. do you guys recommend perrin or invidia N-1??? I really like the sound of perrin. however I think that N-1 looks very good with the blue tips.
and one more question ... should i also change the front pipe? will it be too crazy loud with non-resonated????? |

Perrin all the way ... there's a mag that did a test of all the exhausts and the Perrin had the best performance all around. If it's an every day driver then go resonated as it's pretty damn loud without it.

If you heard the P exhaust at SEMA you would think it was a diesel truck. Terrible sound and no way you would get away with in in the GTA everyday. There would be cherry lights in your mirror daily.
I don't know about the resonate s. non or whatever but when I heard it start at the end of the show I was in shock they would make something like that for a street car? Unless I missed something. |

I have a Perrin Header-Back Resonated Catted Exhaust on my FR-S. Its my daily driver with a 30min commute on the 401 daily. The system sounds amazing. Mainly a deeper throatier note than stock, but idles no louder than stock. With the resonated one cruising on the highway windows down you can have a normal conversation in the car. I highly reccomend it, plus the install is easy and the tips look way better than stock. Def go Perrin.

N1 is too obnoxious loud but still is nice and still looks sexy. If you want maybe you can get the perrin and change tips lol.

lolol yeah that's only if you REALLY wanted to. But those other things were the points i used in picking between them.
Perrin(non-res)/N1 Quality 10/8 Looks 9/10 Sound 9/7.5 Price 9/8 (found a decent groupbuy for perrin) That's my own rating for them. Other will probably rate them entirely different but that was my own person view at them.

if you want to hear my wife's N1 to see what its like PM me and we can meet up. We have no complaints about it.
I personally was disappointed with Perrins strut tower bar on my STi which BENT by the strength of my bare hands when I tried to install the strut tower ends :-O after that I shrugged off all Perrin parts. Also I will likely be selling our N1 by mid/end of summer when we go with a turbo kit. Right now it has about 1000km on it |
