Had to go to a different floor to look at my car lol. they gassed it up, and put it up there so that it remains wrapped lol. my instructions. I like opening up my own presents lol. I couldn't pay for it tonight, finance was closed, Albert New (at Cerritos Scion) stayed late because he knew I wanted to come see it. what a guy)) I will go pay for it tomorrow, and begin the install of my TRD parts this week. Some JDM parts are still rolling in so it will be a build in progress, I'm missing random TRD bits too which is annoying, but they will come p.s. the color is pretty stable, does not shift, and it reminds me of some sort of "metal" finish...not sure yet. it's beautiful I will say. I still have to see it in the daytime of course...

When I started questioning things, they just said it's how it is. It wasn't until I told them I was talking to another dealer that they changed their words.

Not to mention, not knowing anything about what they are selling me. He told me the LED accents for $ 399 was for the interior of the car.

They'll say or do whatever to make a sale ( i know this isn't everyone.) I don't like being swindled or taken advantage of. I read/ learned a lot about the car from fellow forum members & I thank everyone for sharing. I rather take my business elsewhere & work directly with a Scion manager/Fr-s owner/ fellow forum member.

I know it's business & I shouldn't take it personal. Not a fan of the car buying process

Sorry for the rant.
Makes sense. I would've backed out as well and immediately went to a Subaru dealership. I hate that type of behavior.

Pics and videos look great! The next task is to get some pics of the 10 series with fog lights installed. I am curious to see how they look and how the switch is mounted to turn them on. I hear it is a push button on the dash instead of on the stalk.

What's wrong with me? I'm starting to like all the glowing bits, especially the badges.

Thanks for all the pics and videos to those lucky owners who took precious bonding time with their new rides to treat us all and ramp up the excitement even more.

Hope to return the favor with fog light shots, maybe by (this) Friday?

agreed. i'm beginning to like the light-up badges now after seeing the videos. on the other hand, the disappearing scion logo on the dash would annoy me after a while.

I like many others have been following this thread for now 95 pages eagerly awaiting the arrival of my FR-S. My dealer is saying approximately two weeks. Anyways I was wondering if the new headlights came on automatically in low light conditions or if they were still manual? Thanks and congrats to all of the new owners!

Any word on your's torqdork? I got a call from my dealer. It is now a nebulous date of ... maybe ... mid July? Still no VIN, still "A" status. Still in port in Portland ... supposedly. Geeeerrrrr!!! The same dealer received a 10-Series tC today!!!I'm not blaming the dealer. They went high up the chain of command at Toyota seeking an expedite. However, back on May 28th I was promised mid June, traded out of my current ride (335i) and have nothing. No daily driver. No BMW. No bill of sale. Nothing. Just paying for a rental Corolla LE with the same radio as in all your's 10 series. That's the only thing I can enjoy. I'm an idiot and am pulling the plug soon in favor of an FRS off the lot. Good luck and thanks to those in Cali and elsewhere - you are enjoying your new cars!!:happy0180:
