Funny.. I was just about to say "anywhere but Suburban!".

I had a bad experience with service there and I've heard others say the same thing.

Maybe new car sales isn't bad.. I can't say anything about that department.

Michigan BRZ/FRS Random Chat and spotted thread.

I just bought my frs suburban Toyota, I talked to the Subaru people about the BRZ and while they were willing to work with me. When I called to finalize the details he never returned my call last night. The numbers worked out for me to go with the frs and so this morning I went over to scion to buy it. Before I left to purchase the FRS he called me 3 times while I was on the phone with some family back in VA. I had decided on the FRS already and figured afterwards I would call the BRZ dealer to let him know. Once i get to the dealer and start the process i went outside to call insurance to set that up. While I'm outside the front of the Toyota scion dealer the salesman from Subaru gets in the BRZ and flys out, I was like I look test drive good for him. He pulls into the scion lot and comes to a hard stop right in front of me and says get it. I said I was on the phone and he's like get in. I said no I'm on the phone and he just sits there. Eventually he says hell be over there at the subaru lot lets work on the deal. Just felt VERY weird. But they have a grey limited BRZ they seem to really want to sell

On to better things!! Here's my new FRS!! So in love! Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21372219528.541057.jpg

I've had terrible experiences at suburban subaru and suburban toyota in the past, both in sales and service. It is the most convenient and local subaru dealership to me, and I won't go there.

I genuinely HATE the dealership experience, but Hodges in Ferndale is fantastic, and Dwyer Subaru is pretty good too.

Fox Toyota in Rochester has a pretty decent sales dept, but their service is the worst I've ever seen.

Disagree with you on their sales dept. They occasionally have a decent sales person, but they never seem to stay there very long.

Over on that side of the state the only dealership i've had experience with is Dunning Toyota, went to them for Tacoma frame stuff. Their service department was top notch.

Dropping a tune on the ST next month that unlocks another 30 hp!! Something I never looked into for the twins but are there tunes out that give any real performance boosts?

A tune on a turbo car is much easier to make power than an NA engine.

Simplified: NA there's no boost to dial up

+1 on Hodges then. It won't be the closest one, but should be worth it at least for the purchase.

Another vote for Hodges in Ferndale. Bought my BRZ there back in February. Overall a good experience.

I got mine from Dwyer and Sons Subaru in Commerce Township. No complaints.

Welcome to the white twins club. If this forum and our meets are any indication aproximately 60% of them are painted that color, but only because it is the best and everyone knows it.
