Also there isn't any confirmation on the boost yet, but I think it's sub 7psi. So adding boost, injectors/pump might yield more power. I drove a vortech kit and it was quicker than my car, but it just didn't feel quick enough for me to want to spend the ~$5K.

I have to ask, what's the benefit of doing W/M on this kit

It cools the charge and also in effect increases octane/deters knock so you can run more timing. It seems to add about 20whp by doing so. The interesting thing to me is that you can probably also run more boost with W/M. It's a little pricey but I don't have E85 and I want more power.

So not an exact science but I converted this to U.S. DynoJet numbers
- ALL STOCK (Air Filter/Header) - 91 Octane

I don't doubt at all that the vortech sc can produce higher peak #'s. That being said people comparing these numbers to vortech are not realizing that we have 2-3 psi to close the gap. Who knows? Maybe we'll get close. Going to turn up the boost in the future. We'll see what this meth will let me do. If you look at the fact that this thing is not running out of breath up top...one can imagine that 2-3 more psi could provide decent gains. Crossing my fingers! Will try to get to a dynojet to confirm numbers. As it stands with the base 7 psi pulley this should be somewhere in the 235-245 whp area on dynojet. :happy0180: |

The interesting thing is both dynos read the same, so it's likely that is the case. However, additional tuning might get rid of the lost power. All in all, I don't think it's that much of a game changer.

I have no idea how it's possible unless the supercharger is somehow a restriction until it is spinning fast enough. Very weird... |

It is making boost down there, my water/meth comes on at 2000 rpm WOT 5th or 6th gear which means it is at least making 4.5 psi. |
