I feel like the car was horribly misrepresented in Canada, and I have come close to changing my mind a few times (and still might). In Canada for example, even though each dealership only got 1 or 2 cars, Toyota set a "special" financing/lease rate that is "higher" than every other car it sells-- they have NEVER done this before for a release series--EVER. What a jerkstore (Seinfeld reference) thing to do. Make that one customer pay a special financing rate.

Love the "pure pricing" garbage-- some dealerships mark that shit up and claim you can't haggle because of "pure pricing". Super scammy. At least that isn't allowed in Canada. Dealers can be reported to OMVIC for that crap.

Happy you are still getting your car. I think a lot of sales ppl are being ass hatty about these cars because they know they will sell them quickly.

All I know is the longer I wait, the less I feel this car is "worth it."

Anyway-- just my opinion...
You shouldn't have to take the dealer's interest rate. Shop around and see if you can get to match the better one. I know today when I told them I was only getting 1.74% from Penfed, they asked if I would take TFS if they could match the rate.

Yea, they were pissed that I didn't end up taking the car because they could have added all these PIOs and I wanted none of that crap. So now they can't make extra money off of someone else. Oh well, you make me feel screwed over, I'll just walk away.

They want to make you think you won't be able to find this car at another dealership, which was definitely not the case with me.

Terrible, to say the least. With little or no explanation at all from Scion/Toyota. Really don't understand this at all.

Congrats! Does the dash light up SCION and fade to 10? Even when I sat in that one today I didn't even remember to look or notice. I'm really not a fan of the grey dash. I actually like the dark black on the regular FR-S better.

Looks like they've already put 10 Series Sharkfin's up on their site. $115. Currently Out-of-stock. Assuming that is because they haven't painted much yet. I've heard really good things from this company with other vehicles, and they seem to be very popular on this forum.

Similar but it had the "carbon fiber" look to it also. Seemed to have a bit of gold tones in it. It was freaking hot and I was trying to figure out how to use the interior A/C switches. LOL

New owners please post interior photos! =)

Hmm okay interesting. Ya it was really hot out today. Was driving home and have Auto A/C in my current vehicle and was like "I'm glad I picked a 10 Series or a standard FR-S" so I can keep having Auto A/C.

I just put that on my car and it is BEAUTIFUL.

Can anyone explain the appeal of auto-leveling headlights versus manual-leveling? I've been in arguments with guys that 1) headlights don't need to be leveled and 2) manual-leveling is unsafe (they dared to even compare it to texting while driving).

I got tired of arguing because I think they were special in the head, but then it made me wonder how auto-leveling works and if you can still override with a manual adjustment in the cabin?

lol, x2! For our cars(BRZ/RS10), I can't really justify the extra expense of them, as the twins are hardly capable of carrying enough "cargo" to kick the beams high enough to bother oncoming traffic. If they were turn-adaptive, I think that'd be another story.

Courtesy to oncoming traffic. My Lexus cars had some type of electronic sensor mounted on the rear sub-frame with a rod connected to the lower A-arm that sent a signal to a headlight servo. Very effective going up and down mountain roads. No manual override.

Okay that's what I thought. I tried explaining to this douchebag that I would adjust my lights when I was at an elevated stop light at an intersection and my headlights were shining at oncoming traffic. I did this with my STI, WRX and my BRZ. He tried to tell me that all of them weren't adjusted correctly since you'd never have to adjust the headlights normally to appease oncoming traffic.

Then he tried saying that it was just a gimmick. He never needed to use them. I called him out on living in the country where the only thing he would blind were the cows! haha

We're cool now, but it just seemed weird to call something like that a gimmick. It doesn't seem to hurt anything to have it (except maybe your wallet if you have to repair it). Maybe they never dealt with HID projectors before?

You guys are right, though, there will probably never be enough load to necessitate all the various levels of the levelers. Still pretty cool function to have! I play with mine when I'm at a dark intersection just to show off or when I'm board waiting for someone in the car.

if the headlights are auto adjusting then they adjust with the suspension cause the right is stiff and it will bounce around.
