I hope the manufacturing plant is stocking up on dental floss to get the Subaru off the trunk

I saw this too - here. Guess it's official. What a huge disappointment. Knee pads and badging LOL. Not even some new paint colors. Or an armrest. Thanks Subie for giving 2014 buyers the finger.

The BRZ has only been out a year and they can't keep them on the lots in the current form. I don't know why people expected something earth shattering here. This is about exactly what I expected.

Have you owned a Subaru before? They don't change much year to year apart from major refreshes. I am surprised there is a single thing different from the 2013 model.

Fairly underwhelming. I guess I'll go for a BMW 335i considering it's less that $100 more/mo on a 36-month lease, for twice the car at every level… (Subaru leases are very poor; BMW does 65% residual)

And I was rely getting excited about this car…

Subaru makes it difficult to lease, that is for sure. And if you get a BMW/Audi/Mercedes, leasing is the only way to go unless you start budgeting for expensive parts and repairs once the warranty expires.

But let's be honest, you were going to get the BMW anyway It is not like Toyoburu was going to drastically update the car in it's second year....

As a 2013 model owner, i'm happy that the 2014 model has almost no change

I am just glad there is no STi model.. I would have been tempted to trade-in my less than 1 month old BRZ for one... Pressure is off

I've drove a 335i for awhile, they aren't really comparable cars IMHO.

Besides the knee pads and re-badging, I'm crossing my fingers that some of the internal issues in the first yr models will be fixed in the upcoming 2014 models.

I'm not sure when the 2014 models will arrive anymore as Subaru has reopened 2013 BRZ orders.

+1,

Approx a week ago, a colleague of mine had to get a flatbed for his '11 335i... His car is still at the dealership for service... 'nuff said.
