Thats one of the benefits most other BRZ owners got by ordering and having to wait, no one else test drove your baby, mine was sitting at a local dealer for a couple of weeks with a $3000 over MSRP overcharge, while I waited for mine on order at another dealer until one day when I walked in and was able to haggle the price down to MSRP and bring it home, but it looks like in the 20mi it had, someone must've not been as careful. Oh well now I won't feel bad when I scrape it sometime.

Back on topic, my recent install is the RevWorks UEL header, even with otherwise stock exhaust it gives the nice Subie rumble and has noticeably reduced the torque dip, great mod and no CEL after a 200mi yet using O2 spacer I might even keep the rest of the exhaust stock and use the money for a tune instead.

Definitely save that money and use it towards a tune! Hands down, it's the best bang for the buck mod that you can do. The header is the most restrictive part of the exhaust and you've already taken care of that. Get yourself a tune, gain some power, and then finish off the rest of the exhaust down the road.

How much was the diffuser? My BRZ isn't coming with one but I rather much pay a nicer price for an aftermarket one than the official one. Are those ~$80 ones on ebay worth it or does that look off?

There are 2 or 3 vendors on this site selling diffusers for under $100. All look to be very good quality. The one I got is great for 1/5th the price of the OEM one.

drove rt 125 in shamokin, pa with a bunch of cars that were much faster than mine...in a straight line. Rally with 2 gtrs, 1 f430, cls amg, many e55 amg, c55 amg, etc. Was sponsored by amg of the northeast. What a road!!!!! if anyone has a chance or wants to set up a meet to drive it again, I'd be down in a heartbeat. I drove from 6:30 a til 8 pm and loved it all! but especially the sections of 125 we did really twisty.

So pissed I opted full retail for mine back in April of 2012, then it arrived in October and was only exclusive for a few months before the others came out.

Why be mad?

I bought my Subaru diffuser at $500+, knowing full-on that there's cheaper options on the market.

To each their own.
