I'm still waiting on the first real tune for me. Started with ticket #2242
Since I installed the supercharger on my car I haven't had a proper tune (just the original default/calibration file because I changed the fuel pump & injectors). Since then, the car always feels like it's going to choke. The RPM chokes and dips while accelerating. I almost had someone run into me the other day as I was merging into a street because my car wouldn't accelerate. I'm quite frustrated at the moment. I just want the car to be tuned properly. |

I'd say by tomorrow evening he'll have most of the tunes pushed out.

A neighbor up the street from me has an FRS and I happened to rev match second gear just past his house. Before I even got home I got a text asking if I got an exhaust because my car sounded so good.
I don't have an exhaust. Visconti tuned FTW.

Any of you that has the STG1 tune, then installed a header find that you expiriencing like a fuel starvation in higher rpm. It kind of feels like no fuel then kicks back in when you take foot of the fuel and accelerate again.
I did 4 dyno runs and also noticed on the dyno that we could not get results due to lack of power. Sent the datalogs from the dyno to John, hopefully this is something he has picked up along with other issues to do a STG2? |

STG1/2 is all a load of rubbish and means nothing. You had a tune specific for your car and then you changed the hardware config, so of course the car won't run optimally. A manifold can make a fair change to how the engine breathes so is it any surprise you could be losing power. All you need is a tune for the current setup, whether you call this a "Stage 2" is up to you. But your "Stage 2" wont be the same as the next mans....
