Where to get plasti dip done?

Hey guys, I've decided to plasti dip my car. I'm pretty low on skill so I'm looking to get this "professionally" done. I live in San Jose, does anyone know any good places that do this? Or people? I went onto the products website but all the installers are in so cal. Thank you for your help guys!

Not sure why you'd want to go plastidip a perfectly good, beautiful swp brz (I'm biased perhaps because i love my SWP brz) but i got handed a card while stopped at a light in San Jose by a guy who plastidipped his car. I'd go do your own research first but the card was for a "RMC CUSTOMS"

Please don't do this, you've decided wrong. I would have done something like this when I was in High School, if you're you're in High School we'll let it slide. It's a great way to make a new car look cheap as hell!

Agreed. Vinyl looks really nice ( probably 4-6k to do a whole car).
Plastidip won't look as nice... It is presumably cheaper...I don't know by how much so it's hard to do the cost analysis....

Haha, I am young, not high school young. Truthfully I'm putting 70 miles a day on my brz... Unfortunately I have been doing this for a year now and my paint does have some chips, minor scrapes etc. What attracts me to the plasti dip (yes I do think it looks cool... Flame suit on!). But also it's protective qualities and the ability to repair it as it too gets chips and scrapes. The vinyl is waaaay out of my price range, I have seen a few vinyl cars and they do look absolutely amazing mint, but like anything, especially they way I'm putting miles on my car, it will get "messed up" within a year. Thanks guys

It's a car. Anything used will deteriorate.

Get a clear bra, don't ruin your car.

To play devils advocate, this car was dipped and I had no clue at first. Looked pretty nice.

Or Vinyl.

Realistically with some patience you can probably Vinyl yourself for a few hundred bucks.

Just buy extra for when you mess up.

Yeah. Just go one panel at a time. I would think the front bumper is really the only part that would be a PITA.

I didn't even know a car can be "professionally Plasti-dipped" lol.

If nobody mentioned that the orange one was Plasti-dipped, I would've never guessed it. The matte looks perfect.

Usually Plasti-dipped cars have darker and lighter areas in lighted places and also have the horrible texture!

If the OP can find someone who can do it that well I'd say go for it. If I were to do that and found the right guy I'd skip the black and go for Blue or even orange.
