Motiv Concepts= AWESOME!

A couple of months ago I bought a Motiv Concepts combo deal that they advertised here on the forum. It was the test pipe and over pipe combo.

The parts themselves are works of art. Everything from the welds to the flanges, simply awesome!

I installed the parts using a lift (makes a world of difference) and it was very simple. The instructions sheets where extremely clear and precise, very nice and simple to read. Even the pictures with the instructions are great. I also bought a K&N filter panel to go with my new combo.

The parts fit better than a stunt glove. A great fit. I used the factory gaskets up front and bought a new donut-gasket for the rear of the test pipe to ensure a "no issues install". No leaks, no worries!

Now after test driving the car for about 40 min. (could not find a reason to stop) my “Butt Dyno” tells me that there is definitely an increase in power. Wow! is how can simply put it. Best “five bills ever spent on this car”. The power is smooth and linear-like from around 4000 rpm and higher (something like that). The “Butt Duno” does not need the curves to be corrected so I trust. In the end isn’t it how the car feels and drives; in this case pulls that matters the most. I am just saying.

The other day I pulled the test pipe and re-installed the factory pipe (w/cat) so I can take the car in for service. WOW!!! Is the only way to put it. The car feels like a cow now. It feels like a gelding (a horse with no nuts), way too sedated. It was not until I re-installed the test pipe that the car felt awesome again.

Great job Motiv Concepts and thank you Jason. Simply awesome!!!

Agreed! I'm also very happy with my Motiv HFC front pipe and overpipe. Noticeable improvement on the butt dyno. What is the car under the cover? Lotus?

Great guess! It is a super charged Lotus Elise. It is a monster!

You should try to switch back to the factory cat pipe for a day to REALLY appreciate the Motiv Concepts test pipe. I mean REALLY...
