To those that "wonder why and what I posted"
I posted this because these are the diagrams for the RS FRS and some for the FRS. I was just providing information and part numbers for t he RS parts so if anyone has a regular FRS and wanted to lets say order or install a RS part ie dual climate control, keyless entry, etc they could refer to the diagram and provide there local dealership with a part number. Also to those that have asked just PM exactley what you are looking for and I will have my buddy get the diagram for me. I will scan everything once I get it together. I am trying to gather all of the RS diagrams and standard FRS diagrams so we can refer them to one another and to show the cars are in essence the same and already pretty much come ready to install the RS parts that will soon be for sale to us. I have to run up to Toyota tomorrow if anyone has any requests for diagrams PM meand I will get the diagram for what you are looking for. as far as headlights I myself am looking into doing this swap. The part is currently on hold with some of the other release series cars. I will get the diagram for it though if he has it. Thus far the current parts that I can recall that I asked for are in the "holding pattern" 1- Radio fascia 2- door handles upper 3- headlights 4- fog lights 5- dual climate control panel 6- steering wheel 7- push button start specific to "RS10" Frs however they will be ready for sale either when car is released or when the car starts to ship according to parts guy. than

. I chose the FR-S simply because my brother is an engineer at Toyota. Thus giving me discount pricing from him plus as a new graduate from college I got more of a discount. That was a no brainer and was awesome! Anyways, your work here can help us make it like the 86 in Japan (the way it should have been offered here) or least enable us to add the options per our allowance. I would like to have the HIDs, dual climate control, and push button start/keyless entry. Any updates?

Further, I chose the FR-S over the BRZ. I love the car yet wish it had the additional features. Toyota/Scion over Subaru all day long!

Nice work!
Although, I would recommend shrinking the photos or putting links to them instead. Just a suggestion

I want to get everything that the RS has that the base FR-S doesn't.

You could do this right now. Just buy the Subie parts, no need to wait for the RS.

I am confused...are these diagrams for US part numbers for the RS? I know the thread states that it is yet I just can't read these cryptic diagrams well. Does that mean there will be US part numbers for HIDs, push button start, and dual climate control?
Some discussion is going around about if there will be USDM part numbers for the HIDs, dual climate control, and push button start since they are in a Scion now. My theory is that they built a GT 86 and badged it as a Scion. Thus part numbers remain JDM/EDM. Hope I am wrong! |

Moreover, making the dual climate control swap difficult. Once again, hope I am wrong!
