Now that I see the blue out in the day light it kinda looks odd lol. Maybe IRS just because it's new and I haven't gotten used to it, much like how white looked really weird to me at first, but the blue looks out of place on the BRZ. I think Subaru blue works better on more boxy cars.

I have a black car now. Black cars with black interior suck in the summer time mi love the way they look but too hot. Not sure if the blue would be any better but the white sure will. One reason I am leaning towards white.

I noticed with the black Greddy car at Cars & Coffee pix (going by the reflections on the hood/bumper) that the hood is more flat and the bumper slants down more (ever so slightly) which can cause the appearence a different tone in certain light.

I think dirt on blue will show up less than on white. Silver stays looking clean the longest. I've had silver, then black, now blue and my mom has white. But after seeing this black BRZ I'm debating going back to black. And the white looks classy.

I'm personally having a hard time deciding between the Pickle Legs Limited Edition FR-S with Cammo paint (page three of this thread) or just simply adding aftermarket pickle legs. The main problem I'm having is the increased ride height and, well, pickles are not round, but look how happy the driver is!!!!

In terms of what color stays looking clean the longest I would say (in general):

Silver > Dark Gray > White

I say in general because white might be specifically better at hiding specs of dust (if the weather is dry that's all you'll get for weeks) or clear water stains (like right after a car wash). But splashes of dirt that cling on or dings/scratches show up very clearly on white.

And for visibility among other drivers on the road monkey butt red is the safest.

Haha nah I don't work for Subaru.

Sorry for the lack of photos. I only tagged along with my editor so I didn't take that many.

Unfortunately I didn't get any wheel time. Though I can report that the interior is top quality and they haven't ruined it with tacky colors like the 86.

I hope that's all it is. I'd like to see one in person soon.

And sorry for starting the conspiracy theory. I am very thankful all this information is in one place and readily available. But find it interesting that the ownership information is well hidden. In any case, it won't change my reading habits.

I don't think it's a "conspiracy" per say and it's definitely great that all the information is centralized in one place. I'm just a naturally curious person and the hiding of the registration details and Hachi being in the tri-state area make for interesting contemplation (if only we knew where the Subaru North American corporate headquarters were located...). But I'll shut up about it now and am more than ready to eat crow if I'm proven wrong at a later date

Can we get a chop with 19" pickles on the mule, maybe some 235/25R19 tires on them as well?
