I hit rabbit hash just the other day. Its best road for quick run. Was seeing how my new oil cooler was holding temps down.

I'll definitely keep an eye for you.
That's cool. You can find my FR-S in the perimeter fence parking lot at the cvg air traffic control tower on the weekends at night. I'm a Federal contractor there. I'm about to be transferred to a different agency in Cincinnati, though.

Right now, I don't plan to do anything except tint the windows and maybe get valuguard undercoat, rust and paint protection. What do you guys think about valuguard? Anyone else get it done?

Complete garbage. Used to work for them I've used all their products. Paint sealant is a gimmick sold to dealerships to help salesmen say hey spend another 500$ and your will never spot or rust. Bahaaa. Lies. No paint sealant will last the lifetime of you your vehicle. I personally valugaurd paint sealant to documented 500 bmws at the BMW store from 2005-06 they still got spots on the paint. Do not do that

After researching a bit more on the subject online, I'll be taking your advice and completely waive valugard as an option. Anyone have any recommendations on how often to wax the car? I heard every season or every three months is the norm. I'll be keeping mine in my garage, though.

Unfortunately, the dealer had to locate the car for me in a dealer swap/trade, so it had 500 miles on it when I received it, so I'll be changing the oil at 1,000 miles. It was either that or miss out on a rare hot lava!

I would wax it once every three months. I have read after 8 washes. if you wash it regularly (keeping of debris and bird poo , bugs, tar/grease its really up to you how much you wax it. Unless you own black or red. Bright colors like yellow orange red, will fade in the UV. so they need there sunblock more often so yours is fairly orange so maybe every 3 months
