Does it make me old because I get that reference?

Haha, yeah... I feel old. I was talking to this 19 year old that works at a coffee stand, she'd never heard of limp biskit...

Maybe the OP should start a thread in the FR-S subforum asking if anyone would ever sell their FRS-10 for a BRZ Limited....

Why pay the same for a Subaru with less features than a Subaru?

No I can't say I would trade up to a 10 series from my brz or my fr-s. Personally as someone that has 2 (wife has the brz) I like the scion better because it has less options that I don't use. I track the car and planed on molesting it so no need for ass warmers or a touch screen radio on the track. Some things about the 10 series I like but most of it I don't really care for. I'm all about simple and usable not creature comforts so what is not at all important to me is probably a deal breaker for others.

There would be no need for someone to sell/trade their BRZ for a 10 Series. You would just be losing money because it as a lateral move. However if you are purchasing one of the twins for the first time, and you need to decide between a 10 Series and a BRZ Limited, then one may choose the 10 Series because:
- they personally like the looks of the Scion better (closest thing to a GT86)
- they like the exclusive paint
- they don't want to be on a long waiting list for a BRZ Limited
- they would rather deal with Toyota dealership than Subaru (some people may already be with Toyota and love their dealership service)
- they may not like silver dash trim and please don't reply to this saying "oh the T's carbon fiber is not any better" because 10 Series doesn't come with that, it comes with a different better/actual carbon fiber dash trim
- different suspension set up

other people would choose BRZ because:
- subbie fans
- alacantra + heated seats
- nav
- foglights
- spoiler
- different suspension set up to lessen differences between RWD & AWD

The RS FRS is more of a Scion than the base model FRS. I hate Scion, and a real mind fuck when I bought this car, but that RS FRS is just cheesy.
