Weight ?
I currently have a set of Enkei RPF-1 on my current car..
but this time around I want to keep it "STOCK" to limit my expenses...
unless the OEM wheels are HEAVY (for 17s )
I don't believe anything has been reported..I am sure like a lot of OEM wheels they will have some weight

They kind of are. According to the dealer training manual the 17's weigh 20lbs each.

Thats like almost 5lbs a corner more than my RPF-1, but I saw in the that picture .. one RIM was stated at 7.2kg..
thats like 15lbs ... I wonder how much more that is ... or if Subaru will offer that in the Subaru BRZ Limited

The 7.2kg one (15.7 lbs) is the OEM 16" I believe. You can see them in the thread with the red TRD kitted JDM 86.

Once this car is out, Rays Engineering and ADVAN wheels, along with many other Japanese wheel manufacturers will have light weight wheels suitable for this car. They know this is a whole new market

fwiw: 5X100 isn't non existent in the wheel world but getting the "looks" and fit as some of the chops is going to be impossible, those companies make the wheels already just have to order them

I am fully aware of that. And the reason I said that is because I work closely with Rays/ADVAN wheels distributor in the U.S., and if there is huge interests and demands, they will offer wider range of sizes (width and offsets) to suit everyone's needs
