Just found these wheels on TireRack, had to do a double take. Could buy them & have them painted and still come out cheaper than GramLights.

Sweet, the only thing I'm worried about with the setup is the tire rubbing on the strut. I'm lowered on h&r Supersports and hopefully they will clear.

They look pretty damn good, but man the weight. wheel is on average 3-4LBS heavier per wheel.

Stock, 17x7: 20.1lbs Gram Lights, 18x9.5: 22lbs (best source I could find was 18x8.5 +38 21.75 lbs, 18x9.5 +22 22.5 lbs; source; wrong offset, so I rounded down to 22lbs which I have heard floating around a few times) BR10, 18x9: 22.6lbs 2.5lbs heavier than stock (and +1" diameter, 2" wider) 0.6lbs heavier than Gram Lights. Then when you throw on tires with a similar stretch on both, you are at minimum 10mm wider on the tire which will add that weight back to the Gram Lights. Also $1300+tax cheaper for a set, coincidentally that's enough for a quality set of RCE Tarmac Zeroes - which is exactly what I did with the extra :P Last edited by djdnz; 06-19-2013 at 12:19 PM. |

I laugh when people complain about few pounds added to the car's overall weight. Maybe they should start cutting their own weight instead.

![]() but I cannot talk, I weigh 260. Being able to bench every pound that I weigh is nice, but still, I am a big dude (6'4) and could stand to lose a few. Every time I worry about wheel weight, I immediately tell myself to lose weight instead. I know up sprung mass is different and one pound is multiplied by X but still. I could lose 30 pounds and solve the whole issue right there :p OH and to keep on topic This rims are on my possible buy list. They are nice, would look good painted and are affordable. I wish the Konig Torches came in nice sizes for 5x100 but they do not. Thankfully Bremmer made something decent for us at a very reliable price.

really need more pictures on the face. Where did you get your tires from? Tirerack? How much are you going to lower your car? Adding any spacer?
