Wow! That would be awesome! I was thinking I would rent a Uhaul truck.. but if you've got a good size trailer I bet we could knock it out in a couple of trips. If all goes according to plan we should close on July 31st. So we wouldn't be moving until the first weekend in August. I'm trying to get that moved up one week though. I'll keep everyone updated.. I GREATLY appreciate any and all offers for help. |

Did I mention the new house has a pool?
Hoffa better not be buried under my pool.. I read something about them digging for Hoffa up there. I would drive down Orion Road and then take Adams all the way down to Troy for work.. so it would be right on my regular commute. |

I really don't to deal with a pissed off seller and other problems.. fingers crossed for everything going smoothly. your place is officially yours now right? Closed and keys in hand? When does the car lift get delivered?.. :happy0180: |

Not sure about the lift yet (hopefully sometime in the near future) but I picked up the floor epoxy last night and am doing that this weekend. |

If you're on Buell Rd.. just off adams.. that would put my (hopefully) new house about 2.5 miles away from you. I'm in that subdivision off Orion Rd. just before you get into Lake Orion. |

So I got my car back from the dealer after almost 15 days.
The CEL + TL combo was due to the cam gear advancing. The BRZ technician found out after replacing the cam gear that the CEL came back on. Then, he found out that he had to replace the ECU too. Not his fault though, as Subaru tech support didn't tell him until the second CEL! The silver lining is that it's a brand new ECU and it's going to calibrate according to my heavy right foot. It does rev more eagerly and feels more active. Thankfully, there is no break-in period like the first 1000 miles, so, I am happy for this fresh rev-happy start. |

Glad they got it all fixed up for you!
I got my koyorad radiator today now I'm just waiting on the oil cooler sandwich plate and my brakes. Gotta call concept z tomorrow and make sure they are going to have them on time for my track day this weekend. Running this car in 110 degree heat is hell on the stock cooling and brakes. I can't wait to get back to Michigan and run the car without the fear of boiling every fluid in it! Sent from my Q10 |

Heyo,
I've been trolling for a few weeks now, and would like to say hi! I bought the FR-S three months ago after living in NYC just using public transportation and taxis, and oh man.. I absolutely missed driving, and the FR-S makes my daily commute quite enjoyable. I honestly don't know much about cars, just that I love driving, and wish to start getting involved in the mechanical side of things. A 'noob' some would say I am, not going to lie, I am quite. Simply, I wish to learn and turn this into a fulfilling hobby. From a simple oil change to cosmetic adjustments, nothing too crazy. I stay around Canton and downtown Detroit, home and work, and would like to get to know the FT-86 community in SE MI. Thanks! |

Anyone in the Detroit/SE MI area willing/available to meet to show me there car and go over it with my wife and I? We like them, want to get one, but she needs a little convincing as to the ability to drive in the winters here in mich. we just moved to the area so were hesitant to get an RWD car in unknown snowy winters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! PM me if your free to help! |
