Just about to install mine. I painted my housing white to match the body. I'll post pics when I'm done.

I managed to install these horns without pulling off the front bumper, but I have a lift in my garage. You can unbolt the plastic piece from the bottom and have enough room to work if the car is off the ground. I also disassembled the horns and painted the red parts black so they wouldn't show through the grill.

Ill get you guys a sound clip in outdoors and in a home garage soon. I need to redo the spade connection, that grease is annoying and the spade slips out. Going to solder that b*tch together.

I used this DIY to install my horns. No need to take the bumper off though. Just get it up on stands and access from under the front of the car. I used this horn instead:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/PIAA-85115-Superior-Bass-Horn/dp/B0060ZB43G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1370224201&sr=8-3&keywords=PIAA+horn"]Amazon.com: PIAA 85115 Superior Bass Horn: Automotive[/ame]

Thought I'd post this here so people could hear the difference a new horn makes on this car.

Thanks again for the DIY!

I must be missing something here because my friend and I found a really easy way to do this. Note: This only works for people that don't care about "showing off" the horns.

For the low horn, plug the factory connector into the supertone and add a ground wire with a spade connector and ground to the factory mounting point. Done.

For the high horn, cut off the factory connector and add spade connectors to the ends of the power and ground. Loosen the factory horn bracket and flip it so the horn goes the other way (closer to drivers side). That's it.

One of the horns is still on display which I'm OK with but I painted the "grills" black for stealth factor anyways. In the end, the horns are in the stock location.

Only thing is...I could be wrong but I think the horn will no longer beep when pressing the lock button on the remote 3 times. Doesn't bother me

I created an account to say thank you. This was a much easier install.

Question: I mounted in the same location as most of the Hellas here, and I just noticed today after having them for a long time that they're not symmetrical vertically. As in, one is higher and one is lower. It's like my lower grille has a lazy eye.

Is that how anyone else's is? Is one bolt lower than the other?

Here is mine. I left my stock horns in place, and tapped into the wire at the horn to trigger a relay to turn these horns on.
And I made my own brackets to get them where I wanted.
