Ask him to tell you why this information on Scion.com is wrong then:

http://www.scion.com/cars/scion_seri...s&image=audio1

Clearly shows that the 6.1" touchscreen is standard. And then this image:

http://www.scion.com/cars/scion_seri...e=audioBespoke

Indicates that there is a single BeSpoke upgrade, for app, aha, and presumably nav support.

My sales rep states that 10 Series comes with the random POS plain Pioneer deck - no touch screen, no nothing, and that the BeSpoke upgrade is indeed port installed, but that the nav unit is a separate add on. Not quite sure if this is jiving with the link that was posted before:

http://club4ag.com/2014-scion-displa...entertainment/

Any words of advice before I tell this guy to have them add BeSpoke at the port or just forget about it?

Display is supposed to be standard according to the Scion site like losjackal stated.

Also, if you can find out the tracking of your car, be sure to post it ASAP... the closer you are to getting it, the closer it is to reaching PR!

The German/European Market HID/LED assembly that I have has 7/8. I wonder if it's missing the DRL mode high-output LED mode... and using the high-beam on low wattage on HID side. I need to go see that thing again!
Sounds too technical for me. Can someone explain this for regular smoes? Does this mean the LEDs won't run with headlights on and only as DRLs. unlike the Europeans

The first of these that comes in, I'm gonna park my BRZ next to it late at night and swap headlights. I'll be doing both of us a favor only because I think I wanna go full GT-86 Limited and I've already got my interior close to done!

That's why I asked you top PM me. ;P Doesn't invalidate my point at all, I've seen the video and live in the area. Per Sector 111 talking on the phone today, it is sold as is, track use only. If you want to get it certified you through the steps I mentioned to do so on your own. To "change it's original condition". It is NOT a smog free process nor do you just go to the DMV and fill out some typical paperwork like a normal registration.

Thus it was not built to be 'road legal' or smog free.

Back to waiting...

Edit - Got off the phone w/ Sector 111 (US distributor) for further details. The car in the video belongs to Sector 111. It CAN be operated as a street car once it is properly registered and refereed. It will also be smog free 'for life' after the initial smog at the referee station which it should pass. This is all w/ special caveats throughout the process which I will not divulge to preserve a good thing they have going on atm.

I seen a FRS and a TC 10 series and did not find the color appealing. But that is just my opinion. The wait is almost over for the folks waiting on the 10 series.

C'mon dude, EVERYTHING arrives in PR at least a month later...if not much, much later! Although I DID see a Krispy Kreme in Mayagüez last month...boy did that make me happy. Now THAT'S progress! LOL

It's been here a few months... and I've yet to eat there...

Movies usually start a day earlier here though

I'm a bit torn on the color too tbh. Seeing it in person it was not as good as the pics from the NY auto show due to enhanced lighting. It was too close to Argento under direct sun light. It may have also been less distinct than the other Toyota painted silver ignitions tbh. I'll have to see what the actual production unit looks like at the dealership.

There is a ship named CETUS LEADER that recently left Jacksonville, FL and is scheduled to be in NY tomorrow; however, I can't find a ship track history that goes back far enough to see if it came from Japan. The arrival port and date is what my dealership told me, but they don't know the ship's name. There happens to be another ship, PLUTO LEADER that just left Jacksonville too, but it's heading to Baltimore. Both can be tracked here:

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/

If anyone discovers longer track histories, please pass on.

I think my dealership just accidentally added the First Generation Bespoke radio to my Scion Series 10 car which is now at the port. This radio costs an additional $800 and is a POS....It looks like its too late now as it is in the port and processing to reverse this mistake. I hate that head unit and am looking forward to the new pioneer headunit included in the 10 series. (and already included in the cost)

Any ideas on what to do folks?

If you already put a deposit on the car, the dealer is not supposed to change anything on the car unless you specify it, AFAIK. I would throw hell upon them if they did that to mine.

That's about the retail price for the new BeSpoke GPS/Aha upgrade module. Ask the dealer what the port installed option code is. If it's P3, you're good. That's the code I posted earlier as the correct PIO for the new head unit as verified by my dealer.

My dealer just quoted me $675 for the BeSpoke, which is in line with what I've heard so far. When I pressed him for the PIO code, he came back with "Yabs20." Any idea WTF this is? About ready to just go buy a Kenwood or Alpine GPS unit of my own choosing...
