I haven't looked at springs much, but the Eibach springs looked decent. Just need a bit more clearance up front to be more comfortable. Some street coil overs are what I was looking at since they are thinner than the stock ones, but I worry about stiffening the ride too much. Lowest I'd drop is maybe an inch. Still want good clearance. Need to do a lot more research.
Eibachs with or without Koni's is a good choice, for street coilovers i like the Tein Street Basis for around $800 or the new Racecomp Tarmac Zero's for around $1300.

I'll take a look at those. I definitely don't think I need a $2000 coilover for what I do. I simply just want more clearance, maybe a drop of an inch or so, but improved handling is always a plus with spirited driving. Hard cornering is what I worry about with my current clearance. I've been taking it easy. I even looked at the Cusco's to match the strut bars, but I think that is a bit much and I haven't seen much info about them. I have plans for turbo later on, but that won't be for a while.

Appreciate the advice, I definitely will. Thanks man!

looks great! I also have the same size rpf1s but my tire shop
won't go past 225. I hate this wheel poke I get. I'm also using eibach pro-kits. how's the front clearance? feel any rub going to dips, speed bumps, etc?

I don't feel any at all on stock up front. Bumps are all clear. I have 2 speed bumps I clear daily in my apartment lot with 0 issues. No problems with dips either but I haven't gone through any tremendous ones that are deeper. Biggest problem I see happening is the stock spring is so large compared to coilovers that a really hard corner may cause a little slight rub on the spring. I have not pushed it that hard on a corner for that reason. The rest of the clearance is outstanding though on 245's. Anything higher than 245 would need spacers or camber adjustment.

You're welcome. It looked bad when the car was raised up putting them on, no lie. Tell them to lower it then watch the clearance. Unless you plan on going airborne, you'll be just fine.

BRZ RPF1 and Stance Coilovers

I opted for the often played out but great light wheel, Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +38 in SBC finish. I paired this with Continental Extreme Contact DW 245/35 all around, which surprisingly enough was quieter than the stock Prius tires despite the widened footprint and improved grip especially in the wet. I lowered the car 2 inches all round with stance coilovers. I initially opted for Eibach sportlines but went with stance because of reviews here and on the nissan forums. I was awaiting KW V1 or RCE Tarmac as I had great experience with them in the past. Honestly, the ride is pretty good, slightly stiffer than stock but not any worse than springs. On the pothole ridden streets of NY, you will feel the potholes/bumps but I have neither bottomed out or rubbed with this setup. As expected, it's lost it's playfullness in the corners but feels more planted but still need to track it with better settings. Currently, I have -1 and -3 camber in the front and rear respectively. Slight poke in front and tucked in the back. I will most probably go with whiteline rear camber bushings as i want the camber to be around -2 to -2.5 all around in the future. Just want to put a shout out to Jeremy of FT86speedfactory for great prices and customer support and to RCT performance in NY for the install and alignment.

Neg 2* on the front.
Not 100% sure on the back, we just dropped the car without any other mods. I have the print out somewhere will try and find it.

I could get some pictures of it on stock suspension. I just purchased the Tarmac 0's to get more clearance in front. The rim itself sits a little below the stock spring while the tire itself is only a few MM from rubbing. A hard corner will make it rub slightly.
