For certain I wouldn't have picked them out if I was designing the car but I don't feel bad enough about them to change them out.

i love them too.. i wish they were 7.5 wide so i can go a little bit wider tire.. but i have seen people take out the stock tires and put same size aftermarket tirees and they actually look about an in wider... so, cant wait.
i need to find a local buyer for my michellins...

Part of me wants to love the stock rims. dont get me wrong, I like them, I just don't "love" them.
I'm probably going to spray the rims with Plastidips new metallizer spray, the anthractie color

I personally don't like how they look. It's the gunmetal/brushed aluminum combo that I can't stand. Maybe its because where I live there are a lot of cheapo wheels from Taiwan with the gunmetal/brushed aluminum theme goin' on. Had the wheels been in solid Lexus-like black chrome or gunmetal or even generic silver, I would've liked them better.

Now as to the quality and finish, they're among the best for cars in this price range. Made in Japan goodness right there.

Still, I'm having them replaced soon.

same here. it's been a tradition for me already. in some of my previous cars, the wheels are my only external performance/cosmetic mod. This is specially true for my previous "common cars" like my Civic, which was dying for some individuality.

i believe aftermarket wheels are windows to the owners' personality and to me, keeping the stock wheels gives an impression that the owner doesn't mind blending in and being a conformist.

I recently took off the black plastidip that was on my stock wheels, and I must say it being all black and dull, the stock wheels seems to be brought back to life, and I do kinda miss how they looked, but I still want new wheels

I have found myself liking the stock wheels more and more. I just recently dropped the car on Eibach pro's and it make a HUGE difference in the look of the car and allows the wheels to blend in much more nicely! Not sure I'm going to swap them out anymore.

I think they look perfect on these cars with some spacers.

what size spacers would be good for the stock wheels? i'm also thinking about just a drop, black plastidip and spacers for now then i'll get new wheels when these stock tires are worn out.

I like the stock wheels too but like the rest of the car they aren't photogenic. What i've noticed with wheels is they ALL look good until you fit a tire on them, tires will either make or break the look..I'm fussy with wheels but even fussier with the rubber..

I'd like to see 225 on the stockies though.

I wonder why this is! I've noticed this as well. The car looks bad ass in person. In fact I had an older gentleman just about break his neck, and hit the car in front of him yesterday trying to get a good look at my car. At the same time, when I see pictures, even on these forums, I'm not impressed. So odd
