Paul here. I currently drive a 07 Honda Fit and have been considering getting a new vehicle for the past several years. For a while I wanted a GTI for it's practicality and interior/ride quality, but with the recent burst of information regarding the FRS/BRZ I have changed my mind toward something a but more fun...
I'm anxiously awaiting final pricing details, but I'm already working on getting "permission" from my wife. I even got her a new puppy to soften her up a bit .

Aloha,
Interested in the FRS. Looking for fun RWD car. Looked at the MX5 but love to surf. So MX5 is not practical for me. Had a hachiroku back in the day before delivering tofu and pretending to be initial D was cool. Hope the FRS gets the same aftermarket support as the AE86 got or is getting. Mahalo for the forum and excited to see how things turn out. |

Hey there,
Another prospective owner checking in. I own and drive a few of Toyota's "legendary vehicles" and am hoping the FT86 brings some excitement back into the company's lineup. If it's anything like the original AE86 and AW11 in feel I'm sold. To be honest, I wasn't even excited when the FT86 was first announced because I was convinced it would be bland and lame like all of Toyota's lineup since 01 or so. But it looks like it's nearing release and still seems promising, and I'll be in the market for a newer, small daily driver soon, so here I am!

Hey all..
Been a lurker here for a bit. Been following the ft86/fr-s/brz for as long as i can remember now. Currently in Afghanistan, but hope to get my FR-S (if released) when I return to socal in March. Current ride is a heavily modded 07 FJ Cruiser. |

Hello! I recently found out about the FRS and immediately fell in love with it. Currently driving a crappy Pontiac Sunfire to get me places. I hope to own the FRS one day!

Just sold my '95 Supra SE (yes it was non-turbo, but it was 5-speed, stock, and only had 45,000 miles!)...
![]() Concerned about interior space in the FR-S (I'm 6'3"/250), but it looks like it will compare nicely to the Supra, especially with a smaller diameter steering wheel and 21st century packaging. MKIV Supra

The Supra definitely feels big and planted on the road, I hope the FR-S doesn't lose too much of that being 500+ pounds lighter. Putting my order in on January 17th (my start date with Toyota Motor Sales). |

The mark 4 turbos were even heavier at over 1500kgs . I can't even believe they reduced the weight over the Mark 3s either..crazyness

What's up guys. 20 years old, I've been waiting for the faithful day where I can finally afford the insurance on a WRX, than the FT86 arrived to easy my suffering. Being a big fan of the AE86 and the culture behind it, as well as the insurance on these should be significantly lower than a WRX. I've decided that one of these will be my next vehicle.
This is the current ride, she isn't fast, but 85k+ miles so far on her, and she never lets me down.

I wasnt planning on buying a car as i was going to be moving to japan with my fiancee but things changed. Now all that money that i had saved up is going for a new FRS 6MT in Ultramarine!

Hi guys my name is Clark. I have been interested in this car for awhile now. Currently I have a 1993 Prelude Si VTEC, 1998 M3 4DR, 2000 CR-V (wife's), and a 1999 GS400. The Lexus is my DD and its getting up there in miles and age. I'm pretty sure I will be replacing it in spring 2013 after we replace the CR-V this summer. The FR-S/BRZ is one of the top contenders. I'm still on the fence like alot of people waiting to see the price and how the option packages are structured. I really love what I'm seeing so far. It's like a chance to buy a brand new late 90's sports coupe - perfect!
