When you watch the car in front of him you see that it has it's brake lights on for quite some time before turning into that corner. He, on the other hand, seemed to barely touch the brakes, if at all... then it all goes "sideways".

It's not any worse than American roads... It's just that Dashcams in Russia are ubiquitous so there's exponentially more video. Put cameras in every car in the USA and you'll compilations from America just like those in Russia... Well, maybe not just like those but yeah.
