1. do i like apple's OS?

yes/no

2. do i like it enough to over-pay for it

yes/no

The one thing no-one here is mentioning is that if you need Windows the mac can boot to Windows. If I wasn't a bleeding edge gaming graphics whore I'd have no need for a PC.

One of the first things I mentioned was installing Windows on my MBPr to make it useful. LOL.

You'd be willing to pay 150% for a shiny case?

I feel as though while the Apple product has a shiney polish to it, I believe I have been talked out it, with extra credit going to 2forme.

I'm still going to get a new iPhone at some point *runs and hides*

If you have any outstanding questions or anything, don't be afraid to PM me or whatever . Check out that Asus Zenbook Infinity if you're in no rush for a replacement. It's a sweet looking machine....

No need to hide. The new ones will definitely run iOAndroid 7+ lol.

It's definitely a very sexy piece. No word on price, though I'd imagine it would be in the area of 1100-1300.

In the mean time, here's some teaser pics.....

Don't be a troll. I live on OS X for everything. I used to HATE the mac until OS X came out. Now I only use Windows for gaming. I've had ZERO issues, but my usability is different from everyone else's some programs only come on Windows, but that's what bootcamp + VMWare are for.

Good for you.

The rest of world need an OS that can get stuff done... oh, and right click. I tried to live on OSX for a week. For me, it sucked. And you're fooling yourself if you think that bootcamp windows drivers provide a seamless experience.

I've been a Mac user at home, and PC at work for over a decade now. I personally prefer Mac because it just works, and other then occasionally clicking okay to an update I really don't need to do any thing.

Pluses to MAc
-Easy to use
-Better Quality hardware
-Cheaper, more frequent OS updates
-Better iOS compatibility (if you use iOS devices)
-It can run windows
-Great support (which you almost never need)

Pluses for Windows
-Cheaper Hardware (But it also tends to be obsolete sooner)
-More hardware/software options
-Larger market share (shrinking every day)
-More flexibility (if you know what your doing)

I will admit I also have a PC at home that I use for CAD/CAM applications simply because the options aren't there for MAC yet, but RhinoCAD is working on a MAC version and once the final version is released I might switch to a new MacPro for CAD.

You can right click, out of the box. This isn't 1997 anymore. You could right click on the mac for ages. You can also get a LOT of stuff done. More and more businesses live on OS X.

There are no issues with bootcamp. You've obviously not seriously used it from your comments. The same type of HW is used inside of the Mac that's used in any PC Laptop on the market.
