For real. I was pissed. I completely forgot they have 20 minute periods or something like that for overtime. They should cut that down, cause I thought in the regular season if the games is still tied after the first OT then both teams go for a shootout.

And to elaborate: Trading freedom for security is a false premise, a "fake choice" if you will. The real question is not "how much freedom do we need to give up", the real question should be: "why do the elements that would make us less secure in the first place exist and what are we doing that causes them to exist?"

But instead of answering that question we can all just crawl back into our cages, accept the morsels we're fed by our masters and and pretend everything's alright because, hey... we've got nothing hide. I bet you that if I dug through the vast mountain of data the NSA has on each an every person here that EVERY person here...EVERY PERSON HERE has something to hide and something to hide that exists somewhere on some server. I guarantee it.

And that's not even the worst part. Give me enough information about anyone here and I don't even need the truth. All I need is enough info to create a narrative about you that will paint you as a derelict, a deviant, or a criminal and I (the theoretical person in power) can then do with you what I will, especially in a world where the NDAA exists and the 4th amendment does not.

Found this dog in the pouring rain today. Vet checked her out and she's OK just underweight by quite a bit which leads us to believe she's been gone a while now. We'll be keeping her if no one claims her. We'll see how social media handles this

She was hit by a car that broke really hard last minute. We busted a U-turn and picked her up.
