Ontario FI owners, what, where, gain & price?

Hey all FI owners, what setup are u guys currently on? Where did u buy your kit and accessories? Where did you have it installed? Tuner suggestion? What's your gain? What's the $$ you spent? Planning for a FI in 2016, just want to see what route I should take, kraftwerk c38 or Hks v2 is top of my list right now, but sbd turbo looks pretty decent too for the price.

I've got FA20 Club turbo with water/meth injection @ 280whp
Bought the kit used and installed myself
Sasha at OnPoint tuned my car. He's pricey but the best.
I did my build on a budget, but you still need to budget $5k if everything goes perfect. Realistically $6k given the exchange rate now.
If new and professionally installed you're looking at $10k to be out the door.

As stated above do your research, there's tons of information on here you just need to look. Also go to some meets and talk to some owners. Lots of FI owners in the GTA area.

Thanks red! It's hard to find local info on this forum, without someone telling you to search harder. Lol. Any local installer you recommend?

I did my own install. Depending on the kit and your power goals and mechanical aptitude this is the best way to go to save some money, learn about your car, and have more pride in the final product. Lots of variables there though, so it may not be for you.

Local is a bit subjective, I'm in KW area. If you're looking for more TO there's tones off shops out that way more than capable. Can't really speak for the remainder of Ontario.

5-6k is a good price for 280whp.

Just be prepared for the slippery slope of FI, if you can limit yourself to 250-280whp then 5-6k is good but once you start pushing for 300 you need to look at injectors, fuel pump, meth injection, oil cooling, ceramic coating, 3" turbo back and clutch so it starts adding up VERY quick. Even budget kits like the SBD can get you up into the 8-9k region VERY quick.
But as soon as you have it up and running it will be worth every penny :P

For ~12 grand i got the following all brand new

-jackson racing SC + jackson racing oil cooler
- pt tuning catless header
- nameless 2.5" downpipe
- tuning by sasha
- install at nv auto
- p3 cars guage

Im at 255whp/195tq on 9psi. Future plans are high boost pulley running 12psi on c85 fuel. At that point would need fuel pump, injectors etc but will be good for 330whp. Eventually plan on ls2/ls3 swap

Wish i went LS swap first for ~15-20 grand as 400 NA hp in this sized car is probably nuts

If your local to hamilton/stoney creek area shoot me a pm if you want to go for a ride along in the car

C85 is a e85 race gas. But there are ways if you're determined enough. I may have 80 gallons right now

I'm guessing you're buying it by the 50gal drum? I wish we could get E85 at the pumps, I want to try the E85 tune on my OFT.

Vp racing sells it. Believe you can buy 5 gallon, 10, 30 and 55 drums from them.

It's also STUPIDLY expensive since e85R isn't government subsidized like pump e85 is in the US.
